Features of creativity

In previous eras, Orthodox ministers did not create verses. At least this was not common. In modern realities, poems from priests have become common. They express feelings for God, not only in everyday life and ordinary speech, but also in the sublime tones of refined works.

As often happens, for a thousand writers, only a few become interesting. These exceptional authors are not many throughout Russia. He is one of them and travels to different regions of the Russian Federation, giving interviews. Archpriest Andrei Logvinov possesses an unusual syllable, quotes, his aphorisms scatter to all regions of the country. Basically they are full of bright epithets, Old Russian words, read easily, like fairy tales.

On Dairy on the mountain and in the city of Kostroma - there is a holy chapel in a patterned fringe.

As it soars through the air, it burns with a red flame that the Easter egg or the archimandrite is in the monastery!

This is a poem by Archpriest Logvinov.

Archpriest Logvinov

Nontrivial, curly, like a delicate watercolor. He himself works in the Cathedral of Kostroma, but claims that Petersburg owes its appearance to the small town of Kostroma. After all, the birth and formation of the northern capital is closely intertwined with the royal house of the Romanovs. And they originate in the village of Domnino, near Kostroma. Their roots, the roots of Peter I - Kostroma. The icon, with the help of which they blessed Mikhail Fedorovich to the kingdom, one of the greatest relics of the family, is kept in the cradle of the Romanovs. This is the Fedorov Icon of the Mother of God. Near St. Petersburg, a church was erected in honor of this relic. Father Andrei Logvinov devoted many lines to this subject. To Fedorovskaya he is drawn, by his own confessions, away from worldly fuss. Next to her, he loves to retire and respects her for her centuries-old history and an important role in the Russian Empire, he inflamed with her soul.

Whose will you be?

Archpriest Andrei Logvinov also admits that he has always been considered a Muscovite. However, during the course of his life, being in different places, he changed his mind. In Petersburg, he met many believers, recognizing them as reverent, sincere Christians. So his love spread to the northern capital. Many stanzas are dedicated to them in a cold city. “Is it possible to forget these regal squares?”, - this line clearly expresses his attitude to the former capital. All the works are imbued with the spirit of love and the sense of loss of the autocrats, and in the northern city, he first of all looks to the shrines that have been preserved in their memory, for example, to the Savior on Spilled Blood, built on the site of the murder of Alexander II.

Also about St. Petersburg and the bloody events of those years, the priest wrote: “The imperial death. Next - Savior on Blood of the bail: where Golgotha is the holy son, there is Easter of the holy grandson. ”

Mission

He called himself the Kostroma envoy of the northern capital. He was a servant of the Cathedral of Father John of Kronstadt, who was the most famous saint from Petersburg. He began to serve there as an ordinary parish priest, at first he had only five parishioners, to whom, by his own admission, he was imbued with feelings, which turned out to be mutual.

Philosophy of Father Andrei

So much has been given! So easy to waste: love God, love your brother, feed the bird, take pity on the cat, give the sick a cup, and others a spoon. So God created: we are people, not when we breathe, but for now we love ...

He preaches to live where Jesus defined the people.

Giving an interview to Soyuz TV channel about his thoughts after traveling to the historical places of the new martyrs of Russia, about the attitude to the murdered and about the creative path of the Christian poet and priest, Logvinov told the following: “Blessed is he who is in the backwater! “Wait,” is the reward higher, since hell hid behind the stone wall from here? And is it not blessed - who lived and survived here on the battlefields? “He put his soul for a friend and forwarded hell to prayers.”

The beginning of the way

Archpriest Andrey

For a long time, even when he was a schoolboy, he devoted time to reading and discussing literature, first of all, the 9th grader Andrei was fascinated by the classics. This became the prerequisites for the further poetic path of the boy. The second round was the experimentation on verbal forms in the student years. With the development of personality, he switched to the search for God around and in his soul, and the poems gradually took on the form that exists today. It turns out that from a young age Protopriest Andrei Logvinov wrote his poems.

As Andrei’s personality developed, his work also changed. Peaks of inspiration of the creative personality of the priest usually occur during Lent. Very tired, serving the people, Archpriest Andrei Logvinov notices how new images pass through him, interesting lines are born. It is during these periods that the greatest number of poems is written. Although the mind is keen on the life of the church at this time as never before. Perhaps that is why all the verses of Archpriest Andrei Logvinov are permeated with special humility.

Persecution of authorities

Andrei’s heart was revived as he approached the knowledge of God's world. While reading, he discovered new facets of reality, more interesting than the usual living of worldly needs. When he was 22 years old, he was baptized and firmly decided that he would be a saint. All this happened in the Soviet era, which left its mark on the events taking place with the priest. There were cases of threats to the priest a wide variety of sanctions.

When Gorbachev ruled the country, the first secretary of the city where Andrei lived was Bakatin, in fact, he was the Minister of the Interior. He seemed to maintain communication with the population, the process was proceeding quite peacefully. City hearings were organized, during which citizens discussed various issues, one of them was attended by a future poet. With his inherent tendency to cut the truth, young Andrei spoke out publicly that obstacles had been set up at the Velikoretsky procession. In those days, the participants were really ridiculed, set dogs on them, detained and sent to police stations, cordoned off the territory. The performance of the young man was bold. In addition, he said that he did not trust such a government, did not believe in the perestroika that was taking place in the city. It is not surprising that after that he was called by the prosecutor's office. Prayers and intercession of Bishop Chrysanthus managed to avoid the unenviable fate of Andrei after these meetings.

The next interesting fact is that Logvinov was expelled from the university. The student openly claimed that he was sympathetic to Boris Pasternak, who was everywhere harassed during that Soviet time. He spoke for Solzhenitsyn, who was sent abroad. At the same time, he was a spiritual seeker of Christian views, not being afraid to rebelliously express his views as a student. Of course, the elites were actively reporting this, and calls and warnings to the future saint followed. Cases on the propaganda activities of a student at a pedagogical institute opened on him.

Link History

The mother of the expelled, tired but wise woman - the head of the department of scientific communism, who worked in another university - in order to save her beloved stubborn, her family and herself (after all, she raised a traitor, for which she certainly had to be punished, up to the demands of passing a membership card), with lightning speed I packed my things and bravely went to a huge alien Moscow to mix with the diverse motley crowd. From now on, she worked as the most ordinary teacher. The son, to her reassurance, went to work at the factory, merging with the orderly ranks of local youth. However, he was soon forced to go to the link, which he was strictly "recommended". The link was to Siberia. Being in it, the archpriest himself taught children. And so Archpriest Andrei Logvinov lived in Siberia, his biography is inextricably linked with these places.

Family Archpriest

Such character traits were inherited by the children of Andrei. So, his son Alexei became the leader of the original group "Komba Bakkh". The texts of the group are saturated with Orthodox spirituality. The priest taught his children to Orthodoxy from an early age, traveling with them through the sacred territories, sending their prayers to the whole family to God. The grown faith remained with the children for life.

Live in love

"Orthodoxy is living, the Lord is love, we must live and rejoice in Christ," - Andrei Logvinov.

An interesting fact was that Logvinov was born on May 19, this is the same day that the martyr Nicholas II was born. Andrew became a sincere admirer of the emperor, glorifying him in his work. He repeatedly admitted his sincere love for the Sovereign. According to his confessions, he would like to read it, and this touches him to tears, and the fact that they were born on the same day is not so important. The reason is that these reigning new martyrs were carriers of pure love for both the Fatherland and each other. He considers the murder of the family so sinister crime that to this day his blood both gets colder and boils, does not allow to remain indifferent. Even after a hundred years, it does not come to terms with what happened. Andrei visited the places of Yekaterinburg directly related to the tragic events of those years that occurred with the royal family. He also visited a man’s monastery on Ganina Pit.

Charity

All the profit from performing and soulful concerts goes to shelters that need the help of low-income families, orphanages are supported, and chapels are built in honor of the royal family. So, one of them is being built at the moment in the Ipatiev settlement by the artist Oleg Molchanov, whose paintings are especially close to the archpriest himself. Images of Russian nature can even cause tears in Father Andrei.

All participants, all who have joined such actions, mystically feel bound together, together with their father Andrei. He himself considers them close to himself and offers prayers to God for them, as if for his family. The atmosphere of the concerts is really exciting.
