In February last year, within the framework of one of the international auto shows, the Japanese concern Nissan presented to the public its new, updated sedan of the Tiana model. The third generation of cars, according to the manufacturer, differs from the previous ones in its functional interior, innovative design and improved technical characteristics. Is this really so, let's find out.
Nissan Tiana: owner reviews about the exterior
The appearance of the novelty has become much more solid than the samples of past years. And if earlier motorists noted that the Nissan Tiana had a not quite representative appearance, now itβs very difficult to argue about his belonging to this class. Ahead there are new headlights of the main color of a triangular shape, a bumper of impressive size and an aerodynamic skirt. Well, in the appearance of the 2014 Nissan Tiana, it met the expectations of the public. But how are things with the interior?
Nissan Tiana: owner reviews about the interior
Inside, the new Tiana sedan lineup is significantly younger. The architecture of the center console and torpedoes is now difficult to call obsolete or unfinished. It is also worth noting the use of new trim materials on the Nissan Tiana car. Responses of owners note the fact that inside they began to use such expensive elements as leather, wood, textured plastic and carpet. All this, together with a new appearance, makes the novelty solid, luxurious and presentable.
Nissan Tiana: owner reviews on technical specifications
The updated line of engines now consists of three gasoline units. Among them is the base engine, which with its working volume of 2.0 liters accelerates the car to hundreds in just 11.9 seconds. At the same time, fuel consumption in mixed mode does not exceed 7.3 liters. For a car of this class, this is quite an acceptable "appetite", as noted by the reviews of the owners. The average 2.5-liter unit provides acceleration to hundreds in less than 10 seconds, while the maximum speed is as much as 210 kilometers per hour. With the top-end 3.5-liter engine, the Nissan Tiana can gain a hundred in 7 seconds. The peak speed is 230 kilometers per hour. Such an engine spends relatively little fuel - not more than 11 liters per 100 kilometers in a combined cycle.
The cost of the updated Japanese Nissan
According to the manufacturer, the price of the third generation of sedans will not differ much from the cost of the Nissan Tiana 2013 car. The price will be about 900,000-1400,000 rubles, depending on the configuration chosen by the buyer. It is worth noting that the start of sales of new items in Russia is scheduled for the first quarter of this year. At the same time, the new βTianaβ will become closer to Russian motorists in the literal sense of the word - in January 2014 a serial launch of 3 generations of sedans is planned at one of the plants in the Leningrad Region, near the village of Kamenka. Thus, the Nissan Tiana will not only become cheaper in price, but will also be less problematic to repair, since original spare parts for it will be available for sale.
