One of the hardest parts of any car is the suspension. How to remove a rack?

After removing the tip, you can proceed to further disassembly. In fact, there is very little left. First, unscrew in the engine compartment three nuts that secured the support of the bearing. You don’t touch the stock yet. Then, using the keys on 17 and 19, disconnect the rack from the front hub. How to disassemble the strut and shock absorber?
On some models of racks the possibility of dismantling the shock absorber is not provided. But when replacing the rack, you are unlikely to decide to install new springs. Therefore, the old will have to be removed. To do this, put a special puller on the extreme turns. Squeeze the spring lightly to loosen it against the plates on the rack. Replacing the VAZ-2114 front struts with your own hands is quick enough, and you need a minimal amount of tools.
Then, when the spring is fixed, you can unscrew the nut from the stem. It is she who holds the entire structure, including the thrust bearing. Now it remains only to take away the metal washers and spring. These elements are useful for installation on a new suspension strut. To disassemble the shock absorber (when using repair kits), you need to unscrew the nut at the top of the rack with a special key. She has an external thread, after removal, all the insides of the shock absorber can be removed to the surface. But if the front pillar is replaced on the VAZ-2114 car, and not its repair, then it makes no sense to disassemble the shock absorber.
How to assemble a node?
Assemble in the reverse order. First put the chipper. It can be made of various materials, but silicone is the cheapest. In terms of characteristics, it is not inferior to its competitors. True, in rare cases, the appearance of unpleasant sounds that occur when the silicone is rubbed on a smooth surface of the rod. But this phenomenon is short-lived.
