When ordering components for the system or the PCs themselves on the Internet, it is worth considering that all over the world there are different socket standards.
However, if you still have an embarrassment, you should not be scared and throw out the cable. In order for it to work, it is enough to find an adapter for a European outlet. In big cities it will not be difficult to find it, in other cases it will not be a problem to order its delivery right to the door of the apartment.

The power cable for the computer is not something special. Roughly speaking, this is an ordinary wire, on one end of which there is a plug for connecting to the power supply, and on the other - a plug. Such cables come in different lengths and varying quality. There are also universal cables. Of course, they can be connected to various equipment, but do not risk it again.
When choosing, you need to pay attention to the quality of the wire itself. The thicker the insulation, the longer it will last. The most reliable are those wires that have a fabric braid on top of the insulation. Flexibility should not be neglected, because it depends on how easy it will be to assemble a complex setup.

We all want our PC to be as small and beautiful as possible. Today, it is indeed possible to arrange. The smallest assemblies require a power cable for a computer with a power supply. In this case, space is saved inside the case, which allows you to either make it even more compact, or increase power due to a more efficient video card. Sometimes there is enough space even for a small water cooling system. The power supply is located on the cable. Yes, it's big and uncomfortable. But the system unit is small, beautiful and portable. It fits even in a suitcase.
For laptops
The most portable PC is a small laptop. It can be put not only in a suitcase, but also in a backpack. Most often, they are really light and comfortable. They have only one problem - they do not have a power supply. Therefore, power cables for laptops always come with an external unit. It is not as big as for a stationary system unit. But at the same time, it can be forgotten at home and then, after the battery is exhausted, the laptop cannot be turned on and charging is problematic.
Different connectors
The problem is that many laptops differ in power cable connectors. Basically, they are cylindrical, but at the same time, manufacturers have made sure that it is impossible to connect power from another to their equipment. Even if the outer diameter of the connector is the same, the inner is likely to be different. There are also differences in the central contacts. Some laptops even have a trapezoidal connector.
However, this does not apply to modern macbooks. There is a universal connector for Apple technology. Older models have a separate magnetic and very convenient plug.
