Cherepovetskaya GRES is a condensation power plant located on the territory of an urban-type settlement called Kadui in the Vologda Oblast of the Russian Federation. This facility supplies electricity to the Vologda-Cherepovets hub.
Quick reference
Cherepovetskaya GRES provides drinking water and heat to Kadui. We are talking about the largest power plant in the Vologda Oblast. In addition, it belongs to the largest facilities of this kind in the Northwestern Federal District. Cherepovets State District Power Plant has an installed capacity of 1,050 MW. The station includes three identical condensing power units. Their power is 210 MW. Also belongs to it PGU-420. Cherepovetskaya TPP in the form of this facility received a combined cycle power unit.
Its power reaches-420 MW. The first power unit of the station was put into operation in 1976, December 22. The second began to work in 1977. The third power unit was launched in 1978. The combined cycle power unit was commissioned in 2014. The main fuel of the station is coal or gas, and the backup fuel is fuel oil.
Guide
From 2004 to 2008
Yury Vladimirovich
Andreev held the position of director. He went to work in Kirishskaya TPP. From 2008 to 2012, the director was Oleg Fomichyov. Previously, this man led GRES-24. From 2013 to 2014 The director of the station was Shakirov Marat Shavkatovich. Previously, he served as Deputy Chief Engineer for Industrial Safety at OGK-2. Since 2014, the director is Filippov Viktor Yuryevich. Previously, he worked at Serovskaya TPP as a deputy head and chief engineer.
Power characteristic
The main circuit of this station is one and a half. The installed capacity of the facility is 1050 MW. Now consider what objects are part of the power unit of the first stage. The description begins with a double-barrel drum boiler. It is designed to function on
milled peat. The boiler maintains natural circulation. The station also has a condensing turbine unit, the capacity of which reaches 210 MW. Seven unregulated selections are foreseen. The object is single-shaft and supports intermediate steam overheating.
The station is equipped with a 210 MW synchronous alternator. Hydrogen cooling and brushless thyristor excitation of the BTV-300 type are provided. The facility is equipped with a block transformer with a capacity of 250 MVA. Above, we described the main resources available to the Cherepovets State District Power Plant.
4 power unit should be considered separately. It consists of a single-shaft power plant, which relates to a gas steam turbine, and a generator.
In the period 1996 1998 The boiler of the station was switched to gas burning. In 2000, the peat boiler of block No. 1 was reconstructed. This made it possible to achieve more economical and efficient burning of Intinsky coal and natural gas. In 2003, industrial control systems of the first power unit were put into pilot operation.
Construction of the second stage
In 2010, the board of directors of OGK-6 decided on the winner in the competition for the construction of a new station block. Thus, the construction of the Cherepovets State District Power Plant during the second phase was entrusted to the engineering company of Mikhail Abyzov under the name βE4 Groupβ. The capacity of the combined cycle gas turbine unit, which was built and incorporated into the plant, is 420 MW. In accordance with the contract, the contract amount amounted to 17.8 billion rubles. The equipment supplier for the new unit was Siemens.
Also, various auxiliary technical elements from domestic manufacturers are used at the facility. Work on the construction of a new power unit started in 2011. Commissioning of the facility took place in 2014.
additional information
Cherepovets State District Power Plant is a very large enterprise. It employs 557 people. The competitors of the enterprise are stations that are connected to the district through a 500 kV transmission line - these are Kostroma and Konakovskaya state district power plants with maneuverable generation. Also, the Kalinin NPP can be included in the list of competitors. The station we are interested in has no seasonal restrictions on power. This is a condensation type
power plant . Since November 2011, the company has been part of the Wholesale Generation Company No. 2.
Power utilization ratio reaches 46%. The station is capable of operating on German coal brands. On average, the company consumes 562 million cubic meters of gas and 733 thousand tons of coal on average. In 2003, automated control system of unit No. 1 was put into pilot industrial operation. In 2011, the construction of a combined-cycle plant under the name CCGT-420 began at the station. Theoretically, the commissioning of a new power unit should increase the efficiency of the enterprise to an indicator of 52-58%.
In this case, the specific fuel consumption may decrease to the level of 220.1 g per kW per hour. OGK-2 increased its electricity generation by 7.1%. The increase in the indicator can be explained by an increase in block loading. Heat production decreased by 3.3%.
