In the spring of this year, the annual automobile exhibition started in New York, at which Nissan Corporation, like many other manufacturers, presented its new models.
The American car market is the flagship of the global automotive industry. It is not surprising that each auto concern considers it their duty to present new products in the salons of these auto shows. One of them is the new Nissan Teana 2013 model year.
The corporation that produces cars of this brand earned its name for years. Its history dates back to the eleventh year of the last century, when the son of the owner of one of the restaurants in Tokyo, returning from the United States to his homeland, Japan, organized the company Vaishin Sha.
For a long time, the company "searched" for itself in the market, engaged in the production of trucks, buses and even engines for ships and motor boats. It is worth noting that to this day, the company develops and produces engines, and one of the divisions of the company Nissan is engaged in the production of ships. The first passenger car was released only in 1931.
Over the
past time, the corporation has released more than one hundred serial car models, many of which have become classics of the brand. For example, the Patrol SUV, which was released in 1951 and is still popular today. The business-class car segment is firmly entrenched in the Nissan Teana.
2013 marked the start of production of the third series of this model. This car is a follower of
Nissan Cefiro, which was previously produced in Japan, from 1988 to 2003. For the US market, these sedans came out under the name
Nissan Maxima and Infiniti I30.
The third generation Nissan Teana was already presented at the exhibition. 2013 should be the starting year for its serial production in America, where it has a slightly different name - Altima. It must be clarified that this is a
model adapted for the American
market. The start of sales of
Nissan Teana 2013 in Russia is scheduled for the end of this year.
In 2012, more than 75 thousand units of this brand were sold in Russia, which allowed the company to be considered the fourth in sales.
Nissan Teana, whose technical specifications satisfy the needs of even the most demanding motorists, has been available on the world market since 2003. Many consider this comfortable and high-status car ideal, especially in terms of value for money.
From 2003 to 2008, cars were delivered to the Russian market from a factory in Japan, and from 2009, sales of this business sedan, already produced at a factory in St. Petersburg, started. This plant produces models of Murano and Nissan Teana. 2013 should begin the serial production of Almer models on the AvtoVAZ line.
The main exporter is still America, where almost all Nissan brand models are tremendously successful. The first deliveries were made in 1958, and already in 1964 the company entered the top ten largest suppliers. Since 1962, cars of this brand have been sailing to Europe. Until 2003, Nissan was not officially delivered to Russia. However, Russian motorists were well acquainted with the models of this concern thanks to the "gray import".
