Svetlana Loseva and her "Night Snipers"

Do you know who once found the young Diana Arbenin and Svetlana Surganova and helped them get started? Who helped girls gain popularity and become who they are now? And she opened “Night Snipers” Svetlana Loseva, back in August 1998, after which she became their director and producer. And this is not her only talents, because she is an excellent photographer and music journalist. This article is dedicated to this interesting person.

First meeting

Surganova and Arbenina

Svetlana met with the once unknown Arbenina and Surganova at the beginning of their career. Moreover, according to her, at that time the group was an acoustic duet of two ladies playing the violin and guitar. Svetlana's friend Loseva, the artist T. Azovtseva, once heard the girls at one of the concerts and was imbued with lyrics to the core! And, of course, I began enthusiastically recommending them to my friends. After another “advertising” of “Snipers”, Svetlana Loseva gave up and agreed to listen to them. The girls turned out to be so powerful that at dawn the next day they woke her up and asked her to become the director of their still small, but already group.

First squad

How it all began

Svetlana Loseva introduced talented girls to Kopylov and Potapkin, who at that time played in Nautilus, but the guys liked the work of the “snipers” so much that they joined their group. Actually, the first electric composition of the group was born, which Svetlana actively promoted to the masses, and also organized many concerts on various stages of the country.

Memories of "those times"

Everyone is here

According to Arbenina, the group owes its popularity to the producer Svetlana Loseva, which nevertheless should be called the director. After all, she does both promotion, and selects the image, and finds excellent makeup artists. In general, she is a professional in every sense, because thanks to Sveta, the living legends of Russian rock - Vyacheslav Butusov and Boris Grebenshchikov, drew attention to the "Night Snipers". Diana’s attitude to the first director can be understood by listening to the song “Dear Friend”, which is a dedication.

And from the words of Surganova it becomes clear that she respects Svetlana Loseva with great respect - as a student to her first teacher. And this is not surprising, because it was such for snipers. Everyone still remembers and loves her for everything she has done for them. But there always comes a time when you need to move on and take independent steps. This is exactly what happened to the group at one point.

About hometown

Svetlana Loseva is a very versatile person, and so much so that it is difficult to give a definite answer to questions about the nature of her activity. She and the producer, and the director, and the photographer, in addition, knows how to sing and draw well. In general, one thing can be said - this is a subtle creative nature, with a highly developed sense of beauty. All these skills allow her to be the leader of creative teams, because the real director himself must be well versed in everything. And her business card can only tell you that it is Sveta Losev, followed by the phone number to call. In general, everything is clear and to the point.

Svetlana Surganova

She grew up in the city of Okhta of the Krasnogvardeisky district, and it was there that she gained the most useful qualities for herself. And her parents still live there. In this city, at the apartment of Svetlana, a concert of Dmitry Revyakin was played, which was recorded and received the name "Okhta". The musician at that time was experiencing a severe shock from the untimely death of Alexander Bashlachev, whom he met shortly before his death. He dedicated a song to him, which clearly described everything that happened to the rock poet, and it happened quite by accident.

In the Krasnogvardeisky district, the Zero group was created, the producer of which was Sveta. All musicians were originally from Okhta, with the exception of bass player Gusakov.

Journalistic activities

Sveta Loseva wrote more than one article in the music newspapers of the nineties, and it was always easy and simple for her, because she has many friends among rock musicians. Just turn on the recorder and enjoy a friendly conversation. Her interviews were always distinguished by their naturalness and simplicity, because she never cleaned up various “parasite words” and vernacular turns. This accurately conveyed the manner of communication of her interlocutor.

Loseva on the "Night Snipers"

Arbenin's early career

Svetlana, apparently, was a little offended by Diana for the fact that in one of the TV shows she lively talked about that no one helped her and didn’t unwind, and that she only became her merit. Popularity changes people a lot, and Arbenin is no exception to the rule. However, Svetlana Loseva managed a ship called "Night Snipers" from 1998 to 2002, and during this time she did the main thing for the group - it brought fame and relevance. And the last "gift" for the old New Year was a tour in Israel.

During the direction of Svetlana, the girls repeatedly tried to experiment with sound and invite new musicians, but this did not particularly affect the group and its popularity. For these eight years, they did not do anything special, since they did not seek to jump above their heads. Loseva was the neck of the group, and snipers the head, so wherever she needed, she directed them there.

It was with her that they became those who are now, and forgetting about it is simply ugly. Moreover, after the departure of Sveta Arbenin, she can’t create anything original and writes without feelings - just stamping the texts. Apparently, the influence of show business affected! In general, a photo and a dedication song will tell better about Diana and Svetlana Loseva’s last friendship better than any words and memories.
