BMW 4 Series - a prestigious coupe from the Bavarian company, created to occupy a niche between the "three" and the representative "five". The car was introduced in 2013 at the Detroit Auto Show. Then the creators presented the bodywork and the very concept of the future model. A version of the M4 and a convertible have already been shown in Tokyo. At the moment, the car is available in three versions - BMW 4 Coupe, Gran Coupe and Cabriolet. Let's get acquainted with their appearance, interior and technical characteristics of the car.
First generation
This coupe began to be released in 2013 in the back of the F32. Gran Coupe and convertible received bodies F33 and F36 respectively. But the Gran Coupe is a little more about the other - it still combines the sporting character of the usual “four” and the layout 4 + 1.
As a result, the creators extended the roof and added two rear doors. The car has not turned into a full-fledged sedan - it is still the same coupe.
