Helena was born in 1978 on March 23 in the city of Kalmar in southeastern Sweden.
When she was only 3 years old, she began dancing, and at the age of 7, her mother took her to choral singing classes.
In part, the girl’s hobbies were also affected by the fact that her grandmother owned a music store on her mother’s side. And grandfather (also on the maternal side), being an artist (born in 1917), knew how to play the violin.

Helena's father was born in a small village surrounded by forests, called Virserum (in eastern Sweden). In connection with his crazy love for nature, he raised his daughter in the same spirit. Therefore, in her songs, the singer (e.g. Spider web suit) often has a certain connection with nature and sings about her love for nature.
Unfortunately, Helena's parents divorced when she was 7 years old (in 1985). Her mother soon married again, and after a couple of years a new family moved to the Swedish village of Björnsturp (Skane province).
Helena Yousefsson in her childhood (according to her stories) often together with her sisters listened to S. Prokofiev’s opera “Peter and the Wolf”, which was performed by Ernst-Hugo Yeregord. In 2001, Helena and her young man Martinique while relaxing with friends on about. Crete came up with the idea of creating a new musical group. The team received the name Sandy Mouche. The famous musician K. Lundqvist began to produce the group. He invited the singer to record a solo album in 2003 with Per Gessle (Marazin), where she sang in backing vocals. In the same year, Martinique and Helena married.
In 2004 and 2006, Helena Yousefsson worked intensively on several albums: Finn 5 Fel!, White Lucky Dragon, Son Ofa Plumber (solo. Pera Gessle) , etc. Moreover, she performed the main vocals in some of them.
Also in 2007, the album En Handing Man was again recorded together with P. Gessle.
She had a lot of work on touring in cities in Sweden, collaborated with guitarist Michael Jokinan (songs were recorded for his album).
Swedish singer Arash (born in Iran) in 2008, in collaboration with Helen, released the new single, Pure Love, from the Donya album.
Children
In November 8, 2008, Helena Yousefsson gave birth to her first son. They called him together Martinique Charles-Didrick (the first in honor of Helena's grandfather, and the second just liked her husband). Grandfather at that moment turned 92 years old.
And after giving birth, the singer continued to work with Gessle (Party Crasher album).
In May 2012, her second son, Cornelis, was born.

In 2011, the singer made a world tour, which began with a visit to Russia.
