Even if you bought beautiful doors, but did not complete the work, leaving the installation of platbands for later, the impression of novelty is immediately lost. In shops, the choice is now very large, a lot of different material is presented. Platbands made of wood or their plastic counterparts no longer surprise anyone. But there is an even simpler option: purchase a foam product. If you decide to install the platbands with your own hands, then first of all pay attention to the walls. If they are bearing, then driving nails into them will be difficult. Therefore, it is better to buy narrow filaments and carefully fix them on the box. It is better to purchase a special tool for this, but you can saw off the platbands along the line that you previously apply before cutting. The dimensions of the strips should exceed the length of the opening by the width of the strips.
