What to do if you don’t want anything?

After all, there are days when you don’t want anything? There is no desire to go to work, to carry out seemingly usual duties ... I don’t even want to communicate with friends, and that’s all! However, in this state there is nothing surprising, because a person is a complex biosocial system, within which thousands of physiological and mental processes take place daily.

I don't want anything

Yes, there is nothing terrible in this, but it is still worth thinking about why you do not want to do anything. For example, a weekday morning, when you need to get up early to go to work, causes you the most negative feelings. You are protesting with all your heart, but you are reassuring yourself with something like: “Come on, everyone has it.” And you are fundamentally wrong. The fact is that you do not have the desire to go to work, but to go to an unloved job. So, to get rid of the depressed state associated with such thoughts, the work needs to be changed. Surely in your childhood you dreamed of becoming someone, right? Dreams come true is never too late. And let the salary be less: no amount can be compared with the feeling of satisfaction that a person receives while doing what he loves.

If a bin or a mountain of utensils in the kitchen have been waiting for their time for a long time, and you have carefully avoided the room, looking there only to get food out of the refrigerator, then this is the most ordinary laziness, which has almost nothing to do with mental disorders. You can fight it only on your own: nobody's advice in this case, as a rule, does not have the proper effect.

if you don't want anything

Or maybe you do not want anything because you are overworked? Most likely, after many hours of hard working day, you seek to "relax" in the company of a TV or the Internet. They will not help at all in the fight against “nothing-hunting”, but on the contrary: they will stretch out their last forces and energy. Therefore, even if you do not want anything at the end of the day, try to walk alone. It’s great to have a run too. After long hours of monotonous work, you should not listen to music from the player or read a book (although reading is, of course, a useful and pleasant thing - only at another time).

And what lies behind the reluctance to communicate with friends? There may be several reasons. For example, each of us tends to lock ourselves in for some time. And conversations with people at the same time become boring and boring. This is normal even if you are an extrovert. And in the event that you are an introvert, worry and even more so is not worth it. For people with this psychological peculiarity, communication is often a real job. Some accuse introverts of not wanting anything at all: neither interacting with the team, nor participating in large-scale events, and indeed, leading an active lifestyle. However, you should not prove anything to anyone: you are what you are, and therefore lead the way of life that seems most comfortable to you.

I do not want to do anything

Some experts say that if you do not want anything, you should listen to your body: just take it and do nothing. Let the room be quiet, and you sit on a chair and look at one point. The effect is not long in coming: in 10 minutes you will really want to do something.

In fact, even apathy lasting more than a week should cause concern. In the event that you do not want anything for at least a month, it is better to seek the help of a psychologist, because such a condition can develop into a deep depression, which can be extremely difficult to get out of.
