The most relaxing place is the relaxation room in the bathhouse. Interior design should be especially well thought out to visually delight and soothe the eye, and functionally allow you to truly relax.
Mandatory attributes of the dressing room
The design of the bathhouse with a relaxation room includes traditional components, and the first is a resting place. After you have steamed, you need to sit down or lie down, as the pressure in the body jumps significantly. A completely horizontal position is contraindicated, because most deck chairs and benches have a half-bent base. Traditionally, a Russian bathhouse is a place of rest for the company, because the front room is often furnished with a table and the elements necessary for a snack. The last thing we do when leaving the bathhouse is to rinse with cool water, because the ideal design of the bathhouse with a relaxation room involves the presence of a pool or, in extreme cases, a shower.
Mandatory components of the dressing room:
- place for rest: benches, chairs, chairs or sunbeds;
- table and lockers;
- shower or pool, washbasin.
All other components are additions to the necessary minimum, which we will consider below.
Materials
In order for the room temperature to maintain the necessary indicator, it is thermally insulated. The best material for wall upholstery in this case is wood. The classic interior design involves rough wood softwood. The cheapest material is pine. In order for the bath to serve you for more than one year, you need to take care of the condition of the interior walls. The wood must first be impregnated with a special mixture, and then varnished, but only in the dressing room. Choose heat-resistant materials with the lowest toxicity indicators for these purposes, since one of the hottest and most stuffy places is the relaxation room in the bathhouse. The interior design of the second option resembles the design of foreign saunas, since the tree is chosen smooth, the panels are symmetrical and even. In general, this style corresponds to eco-friendly minimalism and creates a mood of luxury, if the room is properly decorated.
Even the furniture in the bathhouse is traditionally made of wood, but for it it is better to choose hardwoods because of their strength. Do not abuse textiles: humidity spoils the upholstery of chairs.
We arrange a dressing room
The basis of the dressing room is comfortable furniture. At the stage of project development, it is necessary to decide what exactly you want to furnish your interior with. If it includes voluminous sunbeds and tables, it is better to lay a space of at least 12 square meters. The first rule: furniture for the rest room should be comfortable and very practical. The priority is more natural materials: wood, linen wraps and the like. Doctors do not recommend immediately going to a horizontal position after the steam room, because the dressing room is usually furnished with comfortable wooden benches, sun loungers.
A typical attribute of a relaxation room is a table and chairs or armchairs. We do not recommend furnishing the room with upholstered furniture: steam enters the dressing room. To give solid furniture comfort, use special pillows and wraps made of textile, which can easily be removed and dried separately from the headset itself. If space does not allow you to set up a full-fledged table, equip the room with stepped benches on which you can sit and lay out dishes.
Features of the arrangement of space
As a rule, the largest part of the room is the relaxation room in the bathhouse. Interior design 3x3 - a classic for most suburban projects, when the building is being built specifically for these purposes. 9 square meters can become quite spacious, if properly furnished room. Most projects involve a circular arrangement of furniture: in the center are a table and chairs (if space permits), and a bench or deck chairs are located around the perimeter of the walls. If the space really is approximately 10 square meters, it is difficult to place a pool in it. An alternative is to equip the room with a small shower or washbasin.
The most important thing is to properly waterproof and insulate the walls. When calculating the free space for room equipment, do not forget to take into account this indicator. Insulating walls takes up a lot of space. The last tip is functional racks, bedside tables and hangers, on which you can fold clothes, towels, hygiene items and bath accessories : a hat and a broom.
Lighting
The most peaceful place is the relaxation room in the bathhouse. Interior design should match this. Correctly adjusted lighting can make the body completely relax and recover from the heat. The priority is a lot of not too bright LED bulbs that do not strain eyesight and create soft and even light. The ceiling, completely dotted with them, creates a feeling of warmth and looks like a starry sky. LED lamps themselves last a long time and consume a small amount of energy. If you connect them in several lines to individual switches, then you can coolly play the atmosphere with the help of lighting, adding it on friendly gatherings and reducing it on a romantic evening. Tip: to create an entourage, just add a few wall lights or sconces.
Color spectrum
A tree of any species and shades - the relaxation room in the bath will look best with this. Interior design involves primarily gentle, natural and calm shades. The classic combination is brown, green and sand. This range allows you to give any room the spirit of the “Russian bathhouse”, with steam, vodka and brooms. If we talk about European solutions, then quite often wine rooms add burgundy color to wine, it perfectly plays in the twilight and emphasizes the structure of wood. Red color dilutes sandy shades, adds gloss and luxury to the room.
But the traditional color for relaxation is green. It least irritates the retina, allowing you to relax in the best possible way. An alternative is blue shades, which organically fit into a bath or sauna, especially if the room is equipped with a shower or pool.
Sauna or Russian bath?
A bathhouse with a relaxation room and a terrace is essentially the same sauna, only furnished in a rustic style. In the sauna, the steamed back is hardly unfastened with a broom. Accessories for the bath - this is the main difference. A fully equipped room, upholstered with wood around the perimeter, with classic benches and even semicircular beams can also be called a sauna if it has a pool and a room with a steam room. But traditional brooms hung around the perimeters will help to create the right atmosphere. Another difference is a minibar and a table, which are rarely found in a European sauna. The main thing is to correctly place all the components in a small space, and if possible, equip the room with a pool, even a small one, just to plunge and gradually move away from the hot room.
Interior Design
The completely wood-lined room in our view is a bathhouse, a relaxation room. Finishing of additional sections may be different, but always only natural materials are preferred, including stone. To begin the arrangement of your bath is still at the design level in order to calculate the free space and properly dispose of it after the isolation of the room.
Pay attention to the main attributes: benches, table, shower or pool, washstand. Pay special attention to the little things: the color of the walls, the location of the lighting. Do not forget about comfort: equip walls and corners with convenient cabinets and hangers, make all textiles replaceable.
