Naturally, they show their protest. Someone is actively acting, others are reviewing their own views, others are discussing politics in the kitchen, and many generally leave the country, not wanting to live where people die. The authorities say that everything is under control, everything is in order! And the country is on the edge of the abyss.

People understood: the war in Ukraine began ... And they realized this when the first victims began to appear. The country declared mourning. Gradually, the situation from Kiev began to spread to other cities of Ukraine. And then touched the Crimea. It should be noted that the information war in Ukraine began even earlier than the civil war. Newspapers, online publications, news agencies, television - all the media were concerned about only one topic - the revolution. By the way, if until February this issue worried the CIS countries, then later it covered the whole world. Some newspapers said one thing, others said a completely different thing - people simply did not know whom to believe. Many did not understand what was happening, but they all realized that they are witnessing events that will undoubtedly go down in history.

The situation escalated to the limit when Crimea intervened in all this. On the peninsula, something unimaginable began to happen. There were rumors that Crimea could become part of the Russian Federation. And then a new round of events began. Someone was against, someone - for. On March 16, a referendum was held, to which the question was raised of which state would Crimea continue to exist in? As part of the Russian Federation or Ukraine? It was a very important day not only for Crimeans, but also for the whole Ukraine, as well as Russia. Everyone knows how the referendum ended. Crimea moved to Russia, the state from which it was “torn” 23 years ago. And Sevastopol - a hero city - received a special status, like Moscow and St. Petersburg. Ukrainian symbols - now Russian tricolors are fluttering on the buildings. March 2014 will definitely go down in history. At the moment, adaptation is underway in the Crimea - the ruble is being introduced into trade, Russian banks are opening, Ukrainian banks, on the contrary, are closing, salaries, pensions and scholarships are being recalculated. The transport connection is also being reviewed. For example, on May 1, the Sochi-1 and Sochi-2 catamarans started going from Kerch to the port of Kavkaz and Anapa.
Southeast
The war in Ukraine in 2014 continues. Now what? The south-eastern part of the country holds anti-government mass actions. Donetsk proclaims itself an independent people's republic. Donbass has become a center of opposition to those people who supported pro-Russian goals. In cities such as Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, protesters seized administrative buildings, and roadblocks were established at the entrance. On April 13, the assault on Slavyansk was launched, but failed, as local self-defense repelled him. Every day in the city there were more and more new events. The airfield was seized, the SBU building was taken under control, on April 16, military equipment entered Kramatorsk, and on April 20 there was a shootout near Slavyansk. Are these not signs that the war in Ukraine has begun? Three people died due to the seizures of the
internal troops , were wounded, self-defense fighters died in skirmishes, and bodies were found in the vicinity with obvious signs of torture. The beginning of May - and the battles are still ongoing. True, the separatists are already suffering losses, although before they had a definite advantage, and Slavic militias are ready to repel the attacks of the military who arrived from Ukraine.
Odessa
Yes, the civil war in Ukraine has begun and is flaring up more and more. Recently, a tragedy happened in Odessa. On May 2, several dozen people died in the House of Trade Unions.
Oleg Tsarev, who is the leader of a social movement called Southeast, says that about a hundred people died in these clashes. According to official figures, the number of victims was 46 people, and more than two hundred were injured. It is worth recalling that on May 2 in Odessa, fans of Kharkiv and Odessa football clubs faced activists of Euromaidan. The bloody event is a direct confirmation that the current Kiev authorities are betting on “intimidation and force”. On this fact, a whole series of criminal proceedings was opened. An investigation has also begun on the organization of riots, the deliberate killing of people, the destruction of property, the seizure of buildings, etc.
When is the end?
People are desperate. Over the past few months, a very large number of refugees have left Ukraine. “When will it all end?” Is the only question that worries the worried Ukrainians now. A country in mourning - too many dead, too many innocent victims. I don’t want to realize this, but you won’t hide from the realities - there is a war and it is going on. And until the authorities resolve all issues, do not heed the requests of the citizens of their country, everything will remain in its place. But those in power, as can be seen, put off negotiations and decision-making in the long box, and this categorically cannot be done in such a situation.
