It has excellent, accurate combat, high reliability and is safe to use, but its main advantage, of course, is its appearance. Many weapons experts say Colt Python is the most beautiful revolver ever made. Let's take a closer look at these weapons.
A bit of history
Colt "Python" was the first self-cocking revolver company "Colt", released in the post-war period. He was introduced to the public in 1955 as the main weapons line of the company. Threads were used in the barrel of the revolver in increments of 1:14, which, along with a successful locking system for the barrel channel, provided the gun with excellent firing accuracy. In addition, Colt “Python” (the photo shows how stylish he was) had become the first Colt revolver to be shot directly at the factory with a laser collimator sight. Some of the first samples were made with nickel plated. However, such decoration was abandoned, and now you can find Colt "Python", either made of carbon steel with blue burnishing, or completely made of stainless steel.
The revolver immediately became very popular, especially among law enforcement officials. The six-inch python was the uniform weapon of American police officers. But over time, he shared the fate of other revolvers and was forced out of the police and army with automatic pistols. In the nineties, large-scale production was stopped, and until 2005, Colt "Python" was made only in an exclusive version - Colt Python Elite. Then the production was completely phased out. However, Colt “Python” has not lost its popularity to this day. It sells well in the private arms market, is constantly used for film and is used as a model in a large number of computer games. "Python" served as a prototype for the design of many modern revolvers, and not only produced by the company "Colt". He was often ordered individually by Hollywood stars, kings and Arab sheikhs.
Barrels and ammunition
The revolver was produced with barrels of various lengths. The longest was considered the Python Target model of 203 millimeters. In the standard version, the barrel of the Python can be 102 or 152 millimeters. Initially, the revolver was made under the 357 Magnum cartridge, but it can also be fired with 38 Special cartridges. Actually, under the second cartridge, as less powerful, a barrel of 203 mm in length was provided.

Colt "Python" is a relatively rare weapon in the game, and before you purchase it for "Warbucks", the revolver should be opened from the supplier. A distinctive feature in the game is the huge lethal force, but the gun also has drawbacks: these are only six rounds in the drum, low accuracy when shooting from the hips and the impossibility of modification (you can only improve the scope).
