In accordance with the current safety regulations, personnel who must work with various electrical equipment must undergo proper training, as well as pass a knowledge test, for which special commissions are organized. After that, the student will be issued with a certificate in which the group on electrical safety assigned to him is marked. Only after these measures, the company issues an order to allow the employee to work independently with specific electrical equipment that needs maintenance.
Electrical Safety Group - a list of qualification requirements that divide electrical personnel into relevant groups of people, as a result of which measures of responsibility and obligations are determined when working with the enterprise's electrical facilities.
These titles are determined not only by the minimum experience with this equipment, but also by the nature of education (higher or secondary, technical or humanitarian, etc.), as well as knowledge and skills acquired during the work.
The general name "electrical safety group" includes 5 categories:
Group 1 does not require any specialized training and can be assigned to any non-electrical personnel. This process is carried out after conducting introductory and initial briefings and subsequent oral interviews. The first group of electrical safety is assigned to any employee of the enterprise who has basic knowledge about the dangers of working with electric current, as well as about providing first aid to a person affected by his actions.
Group 2 on electrical safety makes the following requirements for non-electrical personnel:
1. The idea of ββthe danger of touching live parts and the effects of electric current in general.
2. The idea of ββthe installation.
3. Knowledge of safety precautions when working with this equipment and safety precautions.
4. The ability to provide first aid to the victim.
5. The employee must be of legal age.
This group allows non-electrical personnel to service electrical installations under the supervision of those responsible for electrical safety.
Group 3 can only be assigned to a person included in the number of electrical personnel. It allows independent operation with electrical installations up to 1000 V. The requirements for obtaining this group are as follows:
1. Knowledge of the procedure for maintenance and operation of equipment.
2. Basic knowledge of electrical engineering.
3. Knowledge of TB, the ability to provide first aid.
