Iron Maiden was created in 1975 by guitarist Steve Harris, who, after graduation, playing in many bands, came up with his own individual project. He chose the name, being impressed by watching the movie "Man in the Iron Mask." Most of all, the guy was struck by the bullying of the prisoner. The style of performance of the compositions was chosen in the heavy metal genre.
Iron Maiden, whose members were gradually gaining in popularity, was still not a very generously paid team. Their music attracted their listeners due to the fact that they represented heavy aggressive works, accompanied by visual effects created by special machines.
The coming of glory

The musicians recorded 4 pieces on New Year's Eve, spending almost all their savings. Since young people could not immediately pay for the notes, they were invited to come for them in a week.
Thanks to his many acquaintances, the group leader found a manager who has been working with performers for more than a dozen years. After that, their career improved significantly. The new songs have a large number of fans, and the diverging records have become thousands of copies. Iron Maiden attracted the attention of the press, this led to the fact that in December 1979 the group signed a contract with the famous record company. Six months later, in the beginning of 1980, the group released their first full-fledged album of the same name Iron Maiden.

New meeting
In January 1999, a meeting was organized for all the artists who were ever part of Iron Maiden, albums which are popular today. At the end of the meeting, the old group released a new album, it happened a year later, in 2000. With a new concert program, they made an international tour, culminating in a concert in Rio de Janeiro.
