Prokopiev Alexander Sergeevich was born on August 5, 1986 in the city of Biysk, in the Altai Territory. At home, he is well known for his parents. In particular, his mother Larisa Aleksandrovna is the owner of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Russia - ZAO Evalar.
Secondary education Alexander Prokopiev received in Biysk Lyceum. Then he entered the Moscow Medical Academy I.M.Sechenov. Here he mastered pharmaceuticals in order to work in the company of his mother in the future. And indeed, immediately after graduating from the Academy in 2008, Alexander Prokopyev was appointed Director of Strategic Development at Evalar.
In order to better master management skills, the young entrepreneur enters the Moscow Business School for Business Owners. In addition, Prokopiev studies in the correspondence department of the Presidential Academy of National Economy.
Community projects and work
In 2011, Alexander Prokopyev undertook to build his social portrait. To begin with, he joins the All-Russian Association of Manufacturers of Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Products. Then the young businessman makes his way to the council for the development of the science city of Biysk.
Such steps were clearly strategically planned, since in the autumn of the same year Prokopiev put forward his candidacy in the parliamentary elections. Soon, he bypasses all his competitors and passes to the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the party "United Russia".

He repeatedly helped orphanages and specialized rehabilitation centers. Alexander Prokopiev made an equally significant contribution to the patriotic development of the country. In particular, by his efforts, another memorable date was added to the Russian calendar - the Day of the Unknown Soldier (celebrated on December 3). Naturally, such a scale required large investments and the presence of influential acquaintances, which the young businessman clearly did not yet possess.
Given this, many understood that the campaign of Prokopyev Jr. was financed from his mother’s wallet - Larisa Alexandrovna. Such generosity can be understood, because we are talking about her own son. But citizens only had one question: does she have other, darker motives for this?
Mother lobbying
It is noteworthy that Alexander Prokopyev is involved in the creation of many bills on health care. Thus, thanks to his power, he can somehow influence the business of his mother. Of course, someone will think that this cannot be done, because all bills are checked by a number of experts. However, the reality is that with the advent of Alexander in politics, the affairs of the Evalar company went up sharply.
For example, in 2016, the State Duma Committee on Health Protection began actively harassing the pharmaceutical company RIA Panda. It should be noted that this organization was the main competitor of Evalar. But what is most worrying is that in the composition of the supervisory board directly responsible for this process, there was none other than Alexander Prokopyev himself.
Another curious fact
However, the public is most outraged by the income declared by Alexander Prokopyev. For example, in 2011, a young businessman was able to earn about 230 million rubles. This allowed him to take 37th place in the ranking of the richest deputies of the State Duma, cited by Forbes magazine.
In addition to this, he owns a large mansion built on a plot of 1,100 m². Also, according to documents, he owns five apartments, two non-residential premises and several foreign cars. This fact casts doubt on the honesty and decency of the deputy, since the salary of a state official cannot afford to make such a fortune.
