In the villages, a rite of passage for Christmas with money using water was carried out as follows:

This was done on the night before the holiday. In the morning, a bowl of frozen water was brought into the house and examined. The coin was hidden in a secret pocket, from that moment on it became a talisman.

The purpose of this is to wait until a small twig breaks off the tree and falls onto the road. This “foot” must be raised, bow to the departing tree and go home. The bow does not have to be waist-length, just a simple head movement.
At home you need to take a small woven bag. Next, you should tear off the needle and, holding in your fingers, remember something successful from your own life. One luck at a time. It can be anything, even a well-cooked soup. Most importantly, luck should be your own. It’s impossible to remember how someone else managed something.
When the needles are over, the bag should be sewn with two threads - red and green, spending them not completely. The remaining "ponytails" of the thread need to be wound on the branch itself. Then it should be wrapped in the same fabric from which the bag is made and securely hidden. And he always carry a bag full of needles with him.
