The service life of the goods is considered a certain time during which the manufacturer is obliged to provide the consumer with all the guarantees described in the documentation.
When using the product for its intended purpose, if serious malfunctions appear that, as you think, occurred due to the fault of the manufacturer, the latter should eliminate them for free, provided that this happened during the warranty period.
To do this, you must submit the following documents: evidence that a breakdown or malfunction occurred prior to the acquisition of goods, products. If a warranty period is established for the goods (for example, 2 years), and defects are identified after twenty-four months from the date of purchase. And if the product does not extend the service life, that is, the manufacturer did not indicate it, the warranty can be valid for ten years.
The service life of the product can only be set by the manufacturer, since it is directly related to its creation.
If the product is designed for long-term use, then it must have some specific time period during which it must not fail, and after it expires, its use must be stopped. There are two categories of products for this type of product. The first category includes such products for which the warranty period has expired and the period for its further use. This includes components, assemblies and components, which during the period of further operation can adversely affect the environment, environment and people. These goods and products must have a certain service life.
The second category includes products, products that are not included in the first category, and the documentation of which does not indicate the service life.
The expiration date is considered to be the time at the end of which the product is considered unsuitable for use.
The product manual contains information not only about its use, but also information about the maximum service time and warranty period . It is forbidden to sell expired goods, as well as a product or goods that must have restrictions on the operating time, but this time is not indicated in the documentation.
The period of operation during which deficiencies are identified is called the warranty period. What can a consumer who buys low-quality goods, a product, rely on in case of failure or breakdown during the warranty:
- Demand correction of detected defects, and for free;
- Demand the reduction in the value of the goods, or, if it was a job - reduce the cost of work performed;
