Engine oil level - an important condition for the health of the machine

In order for a person’s heart to work without failures, the correct blood pressure in the blood is needed. The incoming blood fluid supplies the body with oxygen and plays the role of a kind of lubricant. In the same way, the engine in the car needs lubrication to work correctly. It is this function of protection of all rubbing parts in the motor and other components of the machine provides engine oil.

Oil change in a car
It is very important to always carry out an oil change after a certain engine run time. Probably the most important point in the excellent operation of the car is the oil level in the engine. With the proper level, the lubricant will always be delivered without fail to the engine parts, and from this the mechanisms will not fail and break. The low level of oil in the engine leads to rapid wear of the components and parts of the car and its further breakdown.

It is a timely check of the oil level in the crankcase - the key to the perfect operation of the car. How to check the engine oil level? There is nothing complicated here. To begin with, it is worth noting that it is necessary to check the oil in the engine with every refueling machine. It is very important to check the oil level every 600 kilometers. And a good owner will not wait for the hours and kilometers allotted to him, and from time to time he will always check the oil level in the engine. The actions that need to be done for this will not take you much time, and you will be aware and calm for your four-wheeled friend.

Engine oil
To check the oil level, install the machine on a horizontal platform or in a clearing if you are suddenly on vacation in the forest. As soon as the engine stops, wait 5-10 minutes until the oil drains completely into the oil pan of the crankcase. After that, be sure to wait until the engine itself has cooled, or wait to check the oil level, for example, tomorrow, when the engine is completely cold. After making sure that the engine is not hot, remove the dipstick and always wipe it with a clean rag or paper. After the probe is wiped dry and clean, lower it back into the crankcase until it stops. Wait a minute or two and pull the probe out again.

Engine oil level
Now it will be seen at what level the mark from the oily liquid remained. If the oil level is imprinted on the upper risk of the dipstick, then it is enough, even in excess. If the oil is imprinted somewhere in the middle between the marks - this is the normal level of lubrication in the crankcase. If the oil mark is at the lower risk of the dipstick, it means that there is very little lubrication and it is urgent to add oil to the engine. The control lamp in a cabin of the owner of the car should also warn of a low level of oil in the crankcase.

And, of course, in such urgent cases when the engine is warming up, or God forbid he knocks, you may have to completely change the oil in the car engine, since it has worked out its time. Changing the oil in a car has its more professional nuances, such as draining, washing the crankcase and oil filter, cleaning the components and parts of the car, and, of course, filling new oil into the crankcase. If you find it difficult to change the oil in the car yourself, contact the professionals and they will perform this technical operation at the highest level.
