Choosing a birthday present for a woman, men quite often buy perfumes from the Bulgari Omnia series. Why? Their choice is probably inspired by the shape of the bottle, which resembles two crossed wedding rings (although the manufacturer claims that this is an infinity sign).
But the configuration of the bottle is not important. Two rings, eight or — for Russian users, this association is the most common — the nesting doll contains a fragrance that will not leave any woman indifferent.
But this is bad luck: since 2003, when the first Bulgari Omnia prototype appeared (with red and silver sides), the manufacturer has produced many multi-colored his younger brothers. And these aromas are not flankers of the first - which became a bestseller - perfume. Each member of the Bulgari Omnia family has its own name and composition. Their only concept is related: the wise and ancient East with its philosophy of Eternity.
In this article, we test perfumes that appeared in 2012. This is Bvlgari Omnia Coral. Reviews of the aroma of ordinary users formed the basis of our brief essay.
Alberto Morillas and his Infinity
The Latin word Omnia has several meanings. One of them is "Everything." This expanded interpretation of the philosophical term by a well-known world-famous perfumer - Alberto Morillas - decided to embody in a series of perfumes, which he ordered the fashion house "Bulgari".
Rather, it all began in 2003, when the master created the first fragrance of the same name Bvlgari Omnia. According to the laws of the market, any product that becomes a bestseller is continued. In cinematography, these are sequels, and in perfumery - flankers. But Morillas is not the kind of person who simply rests on his laurels and collects tribute from what was created a long time ago. He does not create flankers, changing one or two ingredients of the original sample. He seeks his “Infinity”, creating all new “Universes”.
Women's perfumes Bvlgari Omnia Coral look like the head of the family only in a bottle. And even if you look closely, the original side is intensely red, while the fragrance released in 2012 has a coral with an orange undertone.
The perfume does not look like its older brothers either: the aquatic “Kristallin” (silver bottle), the floral-woody “Amethyst” (purple) and the green grassy-aquatic-floral “Green Jad” (a bottle of delicate mint color).
Bvlgari Omnia Coral: a fragrance description by the manufacturer
What is the “Coral Universe” that Alberto Morillas got? Perfumers qualify the fragrance as woody, floral, fruity. But this characteristic is too general to convey all the charm of a mixture of fresh citrus fruits with musk-cedar base.
Opens a symphony of aromas of green bergamot. Goji wolfberry is mixed with its ringing freshness. When the first enthusiasm passes, the nose will feel the notes of the perfume's heart. Water lily reigns in them, which immediately sends us to the oriental aromas in which this flower is often used.
But to become completely aquatic toilet water Bvlgari Omnia Coral did not try. Arabian hibiscus with pleasant acidity and ripe juicy pomegranate generously mixes with water notes.
The base in the perfumery pyramid is wood. Virginia cedar is saturated with the southern sun. Sweet musk complements it. However, it is not too much, so the overall composition can not be called sweet.
Perfume pyramid from the point of view of users
In the reviews of Bvlgari Omnia Coral, customers also characterize the fragrance as floral-fruity with a woody background. But the main note, sounding refrain, is usually called pomegranate.
It is moderately sweet, slightly acidic and very juicy. Pomegranate does not appear immediately. At first, some fresh chords sound, some of which are called citrus, while others are called aquatic.
Immediately with pomegranate, hibiscus with powdery bitterness and a delicate water lily are heard. As for the lemon from Bergamo, then in the overture it appears as a fruit, and in the heart of the perfume pyramid - as a zest with orange blossom.
Musk sounds very soft, unobtrusive. Those who do not like sweet aromas claim that they liked Omnia Coral from Bulgari. Well, if you are a connoisseur of musk, you will simply be crazy about perfumes.
Virginia cedar is moderately balanced by the coldness of citrus and water lily with its warm double bass sound. And few users caught goji berries in the composition, perhaps because not all Europeans know how they smell.
Bottle
The whole series of “Bulgari Omnia” - both old flavors and new products - come out in a volume of 65ml. Bvlgari Omnia Coral is no exception. The bottle in which the Coral is enclosed is not original either.
This is still the same sign of infinity, the figure of eight in which one sees a nesting doll, and more romantic natures - two connected wedding rings. By the way, the mini volume, at 5 milliliters, is also available in such a bottle, only a small one.
The silver metallic chrome reflection on the “ribs” of the rings makes the whole series “Omnia” from “Bulgari” related. Coral differs from its brothers only in color - passionate, coral, which clearly indicates the extravaganza of feelings and emotions in the owner’s soul.
A stylish bottle with an elixir, packed in a beautiful red box, will be a wonderful gift for a woman on her birthday from both her beloved man and a sincere friend.
Who is the fragrance made for?
The color of the bottle hints that, unlike the cold purple Omnia Amethyst or the grassy Green Jada, coral is a symbol of a passionate, emotional woman. She knows how to keep her feelings within the bounds of decency. But she is relaxed enough not to be afraid to declare herself. Passionate, sensual beauty conquers with a fresh breath of bergamot, beckons with pomegranate sweetness and envelops in a long train of captivating musk.
The shy woman does not go beyond the decency of this extravaganza of passion - a water lily, the coldness of which shades the heated Virginian cedar. Judging by the reviews, Bvlgari Omnia Coral is an out-of-age perfume. They will be appropriate both for a young student and a mature lady.
When and with what to wear
According to Alberto Morillas, the Omnia Coral perfume was created for the hot summer season. As in his younger brothers - “India Garnet” and “Paraiba” - the author put a lot of refreshing citrus notes.
But users fundamentally disagree with the creator of the fragrance. Russians say: in the cold, the perfume reveals itself delightfully, with sonorous crystal accords of flowers and fruits. A train woven from musk and a tree heated by the sun envelops the hostess like a cashmere robe. By the way, the perfume's durability in the cold season is longer than in summer.
Of course, toilet water is designed for daytime wear. Despite the smell of high cost, at the dinner party the aroma of “Bulgari Omnia Coral” will look too democratic. Casual clothing suits him.
Persistence and other qualities
As users assure, the aroma is revealed gradually, as befits an upscale perfume. On cold skin, he lasts about seven hours.
The plume of the perfume is strong enough, but it does not feel as long as we would like. In summer, the fragrance sits close to the skin.
Some women notice that the musk in the base, like woody notes, begins to annoy. But interestingly, the people around like the smell.
Eau de toilette is available as a spray. Two sprayings are more than enough until the evening. Perfume is used very sparingly. The bubble closes tightly, but it is designed for a dressing table, and not for wearing in a cosmetic bag.
What aromas does it look like
You cannot compare the Bulgari Omnia Coral with other specimens in this series. Perfumes even belong to different groups of aromas.
But users caught the resemblance of “Coral Omnia” from “Bulgari” with other no less famous spirits. First of all, women compare it with Chance O Tender from Chanel. But this is according to the general sound - fresh, juicy, feminine-tender and passionate at the same time.
If the fragrance is laid out according to notes, then Omnia Coral is close to Dior Addict O Fresh. Versace Brights Crystal sounds the same lilac-musky, with the only difference being that you can hardly hear the pomegranate, but magnolia and peony dominate.
Bvlgari Omnia Coral: reviews
In general, women really like this fragrance. He was praised as a lover of sweet, musky smells, and opponents thereof.
Many users have noticed that the combination of water lily and pomegranate gives a very original mixture. The fragrance is recognizable, with a pleasant long train. It keeps decently on the skin for toilet water. It is perfectly revealed in the cold period or in the summer when high humidity of air. In dry heat, it sits close to the skin, but does not strangle others. Ideal for wear to work in the office.
The price of perfume (about 50 US dollars, or 3381 rubles, for 65 ml) was called by women adequate quality. Perfume appeared a long time ago and has already managed to win the loyal admirers who acquire it constantly.
Connoisseurs claim that Omnia Coral gift sets are also on sale, where along with eau de toilette (a mini bottle) soap and body balm are contained.
