All VAZ models of Zhiguli cars , later Lada, were known not only in the USSR, but also abroad. A version such as 2107 until 2014 was produced in Egypt. At home, cars were perceived as prestigious, the owners were pleased with the units purchased.
Series species in the past
The first memorable model "Lada" was called a "penny." This name was given according to number 2101. The new VAZ car had an original design for that time. Round headlights fell in love with many motorists.
Version 2102 had good roominess. Carriers of vegetables, spare parts and other goods began to buy these machines. Demand was maintained due to low cost and low maintenance.
All VAZ models (2103, 2104, 2105) have long held the lead. The best-selling one was replaced by the “six”, which has temporarily become a symbol of aggressiveness. The fifth version was replaced by model 2107, which can still be found on the secondary market today.
Newly Selling Versions
All VAZ models in demand began to be sold under the LADA logo. Modern improvements have occurred due to the cooperation of the plant with Renault, Chevrolet and Nissan. Attractive new brands XRAY and Vesta have a novelty, having a design that is not inferior to Western and Asian developments.
People recognized cars:
- Granta, or VAZ-2190 - created by manufacturers to replace the classics of the "seven" and "five". The calculation was made on car enthusiasts of economy options. However, the latest price increase has led to a rise in price of the model. As a result, the loss of customer interest when better models of Korean and Chinese origin are leading the market.
- Kalina, or VAZ-117, 1118, 1119. The hatchback is still in demand today due to its fashionable rounded forms of interior and exterior. Separate elements of the interior and the body were made by German manufacturers.
- Priora, or VAZ-2170, has a high complete set of additional equipment. Connoisseurs choose a 106-horsepower engine to feel the charm of driving a domestic car.
The versions have the increased passability:
- Lada 4x4 is a joint development of the famous Chevrolet Niva.
- Largus became the brainchild of Renault and VAZ (Lada). The models have the same interior design and the similarity of individual body parts with Logan and Sandero cars.
- Lada 4x4 Urban is an exact copy of the classic "Niva".
Unreleased factory versions
Not all VAZ models received mass production. There are those that are made only for the museum. These include the Lada Roadster. The basis of the car was the 2108 version with a hinged roof, but only 500 units were produced. They were not sold in Russia.
"Lada Silhouette" was preparing to replace the model 2116, but it is still planned serial production of cars. The extended version of the Lada-2110 was a limousine, the interior decoration had a pleasant appearance and comfort. These cars belong to the business class of increased comfort.
"Lada S" did not pass the payback test and was discontinued. The Oka analogue was presented to VAZ in 2002. Model 2151 was called Lada "Classic", based on the basis of the first and second series of "Lada". But car sales did not happen.
