Raffaello candies will be cooked at home

These are special sweets. It’s not always solid to present a bar of chocolate, and you won’t surprise anyone with a box of chocolates for a holiday or in gratitude for the service. And Raffaello is a wonderful gift. Their sales in stores increase sharply every year on March 8 and February 14, and even those who don’t like chocolate and rarely eat other than Raffaello sweets will be happy to receive a box as a present. The price of these sweets is higher than other products with a similar composition. They have to overpay for the brand, and their taste is really wonderful. So let's try making Raffaello sweets at home.

  • 1 bar of white chocolate;
  • 60 ml of cream, fat content of at least 33%;
  • 25 g butter;
  • 75 g coconut flakes;
  • whole almond nuts;
  • some salt.
  1. Mix pieces of chocolate with cream and heat the mixture in a water bath (you can use it in the microwave). Wait for the chocolate to dissolve and let the cream boil.
  2. Cool to room temperature, add butter and 3-4 tablespoons of coconut flakes.
  3. Stir everything and refrigerate for a couple of hours. To make Raffaello sweets, the mixture should solidify well.
  4. The mixture removed from the refrigerator needs to be whipped with a mixer, so it will become airier and a little thicker. You can start sculpting.
  5. Take pre-peeled and crispy almonds, two teaspoons and coconut. Sprinkle a dish with chips. Using one teaspoon, fill in a white cream, with a second, transfer it to the chips. Put the almond nut in the cream and form the ball again with the help of spoons. Roll the ball in coconut.

Do not try to make large candies. Small ones are much more convenient.

That's all, the Raffaello homemade sweets are ready! Their only difference from the original ones is that there is no waffle ball around the almond kernel and cream. But this does not affect the taste, only sweets turn out a little less crispy.

This treat can be a hit on the festive table. But if you are going to present sweets as a gift, it is better to take original sweets in wrappers. And to make the present look more spectacular, make a bouquet of Raffaello candies.

Raffaello candy bouquet

To make it you will need floristic wire, corrugated paper, cellophane wrapping, ribbons, glue gun and a little of your imagination. You can add other sweets to the bouquet, for example, foil-wrapped chocolate hearts.

Take Raffaello in clear plastic wraps. Lightly tear off the wrapper on one side, apply hot-melt adhesive there and insert the tip of the wire. Wrap the candy with a rectangle of corrugated paper, give it the shape of a "bell" and, if necessary, also fix it with glue. Then wrap with cellophane, spreading it around the bud with wide folds. Tie on top with a ribbon.

Gather a bouquet from separate “flowers”, adding a little empty between the flowers with an edible core for splendor. Wrap the bouquet with corrugated paper and cellophane, tightly tape. The gift is ready.
