Fetal movements during pregnancy

The first movements of the fetus during pregnancy. Every future mom is looking forward to this moment. The feeling of these gentle, subtle movements leads to indescribable delight, to great joy. Emotions are beyond words. Now mother will know when her baby is awake, and when she is sleeping soundly. And let many women complain of tremors, even this is insanely pleasant.

The baby begins his first movements for a period of only seven weeks. Of course, mommy still can’t feel it, because the baby is only ten centimeters long. Sensitive fetal movements during pregnancy will occur much later, the time period is quite wide, from 14 to 26 weeks. At the same time, a multiparous woman will notice tremors earlier than the one who is going to give birth for the first time. It affects the sensations and physique of the mother. A thin woman will feel much earlier full.

What are fetal movements during pregnancy? This question is very difficult to answer. This may feel like a light stroking from the inside or a slight gurgling.

Quite often it happens that the mother takes the baby's movements for simple bubbling in the stomach. Later manifestations of activity may be associated with the position of the fetus in the uterus. For example, if his legs and arms are directed inward, then his mother is simply not able to feel the movements.

After the woman began to feel perfectly the fetal movements during pregnancy, another anxiety associated with the baby’s activity appears. Many mothers are very worried if at least a day did not feel the movements. Until about 20 weeks, this is considered the norm. If after this period no activity was observed within 24 hours, it is better to contact a doctor.

In the period of 24-28 weeks, the baby is most active. Later, at 28-32 weeks, the baby develops a certain mode. At one time he sleeps, at another he is most mobile.

But we must not forget that the fetus has not yet been born, but the person also has days when he wants to push mother’s heels as much as possible, and there are those when you want to just relax and sleep sweetly.

Many mothers notice that if she moves, then the fetal movements during pregnancy are not felt, but as soon as she crouches or lies down, the baby immediately begins to show its activity. Everything is pretty simple explained. When mom moves, the baby just falls asleep, as if rocking. And when she stops, the baby immediately wakes up. That is why most pregnant women notice that as soon as they go to bed, the child immediately begins to kick.

After 28 weeks, a fetal stir test is recommended. It is done twice a day. In the morning, when activity is small and in the evening, when it is at its peak. Before starting the test, it’s convenient to sit in a chair or on a bed and note the time. Count all baby movements: tremors, upheavals. After counting 10 movements, we look at the time. Ideally, 10 shocks should occur in 10 minutes (or a little more).

If the desired amount of stirring does not occur within an hour, you need to have a bite and a little later again to start the test. If the desired result does not occur again, it is best to visit the doctor as soon as possible. Of course, this does not always mean any problems. But, on the other hand, low activity is a disturbing signal and can speak, for example, of fetal hypoxia. Therefore, it is better to play it safe.

Late pregnancy movements are so strong that they cause considerable pain. The baby can kick in the ribs, while strongly pressing on the cervix. The sensations are not pleasant. Often a simple change of position helps to calm the naughty man. For a while he will calm down.
