The history of the car Lada Priora sedan dates back to the distant nineties, when the VAZ 2110 car (the well-known "ten") was already produced at full capacity, continuing a number of models 2108 and 21099. The "ten" went off the assembly line, and in the design bureaus it time was being finalized a new Lada Priora. This went on for several years. Until, finally, in the spring of 2007, the assembly of Priors began. The "top ten" was not removed from production, as a result of which both models were produced in parallel until mid-October. In October, duplicate conveyors switched to the release of modifications of the Lada Priora, station wagon and hatchback, and the tried and tested Lada Priora sedan left the main one, reviews from which from the very beginning were only positive.
The new car was a worthy replacement for the slightly outdated “top ten” and completely occupied its niche, and the VAZ 2110 model itself received a second youth at a car factory in the Ukrainian city of Cherkasy, where it is still produced today. As for the Lada Priora, a number of its modifications were made - two hatchbacks (with a three-door and five-door body), as well as a very stylish station wagon. And already four of them, the Priora friendly family continues their victorious march along the motorways of Russia and other countries.
Constructive updates of the car Lada Priora sedan touched primarily on the engine. Currently, a 81 l / s base engine with eight-valve timing is installed on the machine.
