From the whole huge selection of all kinds of snacks, we want to draw your attention to the Grenadier salad. He stands apart from many of his kind. Why so? It has neither onions nor garlic, and the combination of beets and prunes makes it a real magical dish. The composition of the ingredients for it is very limited, but it turns out an impressive combination of tastes, so this salad takes its place of honor on any holiday table. Let’s cook it.

The main recipe for the salad “Grenadier”

Given that every housewife has the components of this dish all the time, you can cook it daily if you wish. Such a multi-layered tasty and satisfying salad with meat can always complement your menu. At least for lunch or dinner or holiday. Prune lovers will especially like it. To make Grenadier salad, you will need: potatoes - three pieces, carrots - one, large, beets - one, pork - 150 grams, prunes - 100 grams, mayonnaise - 150 grams, walnuts and greens - for decoration. Boil all vegetables until cooked, peeled. Moreover, beets are separate from others, so as not to color them. Also cook a piece of meat, whole.

We will use pork in our recipe, but you can use chicken and beef. It does not make much difference, a matter of taste. Peel the cooled ingredients (vegetables) and cut into small cubes. Then lay out in layers, greasing each of them with mayonnaise. The sequence of layers is as follows: potatoes, carrots, then - boiled meat, beets and the final - prunes. We use greens and walnuts as a decoration. Before serving “Grenadier” salad, it is recommended to keep it a little in the cold, but not in the refrigerator. Beef Salad Recipe

In our version we will replace pork with beef and slightly change the amount of other ingredients. List of necessary products: 100 grams each - beef and prunes, two each - beets and carrots, three potatoes, 150 grams of homemade mayonnaise, walnuts and greens for decoration. And now - Grenadier salad, the recipe for cooking. Boil the vegetables until soft and let cool. Then clean and cut into small cubes. We do the same with meat.

Steamed dried fruits with boiling water, not forgetting to extract the seeds from them before. Steamed prunes and beef cut into strips. We collect the layers in the same order as in the previous recipe. To improve the taste, we recommend using homemade mayonnaise. Leave for one and a half to two hours for impregnation, then you can serve on the table.

Grenadier salad with pork tongue, egg and pineapple

This recipe is often prepared in public places. Having tried it there, many housewives mastered it at home, especially since there is nothing complicated about it. We will need: one pork tongue, four chicken eggs, fresh cucumbers - three small pieces, hard cheese - 200 grams, a third of pineapple, mayonnaise, parsley, dill and salt. The cooking process is lengthy.

The reason is the need to cook the language for at least an hour and a half. Well, throw it in salted boiling water and cook. In the meantime, we will prepare the rest of the ingredients. Cut the third part from the pineapple, remove the peel, hard core and cut into cubes. Spread in a salad bowl, to the bottom. Boil the eggs. Grate cucumbers and cheese in separate dishes, on a coarse grater, then put in the refrigerator.

The final step is to complete our salad

We take out the finished tongue with a fork and send it under a stream of cold water. Then peel and cut into thin strips. After that - spread on a layer of pineapple. Cover with a small layer of mayonnaise. Pour grated cucumbers on top.
