Biography
Vyacheslav Petkun came to this world on June 26, 1969, and this joyful event happened in Leningrad, which is now called St. Petersburg. The boy has been playing football since childhood, and very successfully, but his health did not allow the future rock star to devote his life to professional sports. But perhaps more than that Slava loved music and successfully mastered playing the piano (and later on the guitar).
When Vyacheslav Petkun received his secondary education, he went to the Leningrad Financial and Economic Institute, but he was not destined to finish his studies. The overuse of a musical career is to blame. For some time, the singer selflessly worked in various groups, but did not achieve the desired success, so soon his own project appeared to the world.
Success
In 95th, Vyacheslav Petkun and his friend Oleg Polesovschikov created the Dancing Minus group and set off to conquer Moscow. The guys found the missing participants and began to work tirelessly so that their talent was finally noticed. Over the years the group has existed, six full-length albums and two collections with the best hits have been released.
Petkun quickly became a popular person, so in 2002 he was invited to the role of Quasimodo in the musical “Notre Dame de Paris”, which was staged based on the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo.
