Freshly squeezed juices - benefits and health

Freshly squeezed juice is an integral part of many diets and a kind of symbol of a healthy lifestyle. In the stomach, this drink is quickly absorbed, almost instantly supplying the blood with useful substances. Moreover, fruit and vegetable juices affect the body in different ways: the former clean it, removing unnecessary products, and the latter restore and saturate with valuable components. They work in such a tandem if they are regularly and correctly used.

So, it’s not without reason that one of the components of a healthy diet is freshly squeezed juices. The benefits of these drinks are undeniable: they cleanse the blood, activate the process of cell renewal and accelerate tissue regeneration. Fruit and vegetable juices enhance the activity of enzymes, normalize metabolism and favor the assimilation of food, thereby providing a general strengthening effect on the body.

If we talk about the concentration of vitamins, few foods differ in indicators such as freshly squeezed juices. The benefits are doubly noticeable, since these vitamins are not subjected to heat treatment or preservatives - they enter the body in its original form.

In addition to vitamins and minerals in juices there is a whole gamut of useful components. These are salts, enzymes, important amino acids, pectins, organic acids, tannins, plant pigments and even natural antibiotics. Moreover, in liquid form, these substances work much more intensively than simply using fruits.

Each juice has a special effect on the body. Pineapple eliminates heaviness in the stomach, grapefruit supplies vitamin C and flavonoids, orange strengthens blood vessels, grapefruit has regenerative properties, pomegranate improves hematopoiesis function. Vegetable juices - beetroot, carrot, cabbage, pumpkin, tomato - have an equally wide range of properties and can be an excellent adjuvant in the treatment and prevention of a variety of diseases.

With disorders such as sleep disturbance, fatigue, depression, freshly squeezed juices are also very effective. The benefits of their presence in the diet are especially noticeable in the winter and early spring, when the body is weakened and there is a high risk of vitamin deficiency.

But even such a wonderful product as freshly squeezed juices has contraindications. The harm and benefits of their use largely depend on the health status of each particular organism. Those suffering from sugar-related illnesses should limit their intake of these drinks. Also, they should not be drunk with peptic ulcers, pancreatitis and gastritis. Pregnant women and young mothers should very carefully include freshly squeezed juices in their diet. The harm from abuse of fresh juices can also occur in children in the form of allergic reactions and indigestion. In addition, the abundance of sugar and acid in these drinks leaves a negative imprint on the condition of tooth enamel, so it is advisable to rinse your mouth after them.

But, despite all these warnings, freshly squeezed juices should still be present in the diet. The benefit will manifest itself without negative consequences, if you follow the measure and drink fresh fruits from those fruits that are exactly suitable for the body. If you have serious diseases, it is advisable to check with your doctor what juices should be excluded from the menu. You also need to remember that freshly squeezed juices are consumed immediately after preparation, otherwise they lose their valuable qualities. An exception is beetroot juice - it is recommended to defend it for a couple of hours. If everything is done correctly and does not violate the recommendations of doctors and nutritionists, the effect of these wonderful drinks will be uniquely positive.
