Salvatore Ferragamo "Signorina Misteriosa": reviews, history and description of the fragrance

Salvatore Ferragamo is a stylish and vibrant brand whose products are designed for sophisticated people. At the age of 14, young Salvatore opened his first own shoe-making workshop, and after 2 years he moved to America. It was here that his creations gained incredible popularity. Fans of the brand have become famous personalities and celebrities of the cinema world, and until now the fashion house continues to cooperate with Western cinema. In 1960, Salvatore died, but the matter lives on. The company has grown into a family business run by his son, Ferruccino Ferragamo.

Panacotta, shoes and blackberry

Today, the Italian brand produces not only shoes, accessories, leather goods, but also stylish perfumes, which from the first notes mesmerize with a rich and dynamic sound. Among them, the fragrances Eleganza, Incanto Bloom, Emozione, Tuscan Soul and Signorina Misteriosa are especially popular. Reviews of Salvatore Ferragamo claim that it is the latter composition that is able to attract attention to its owner. We will talk about it in more detail, but first get acquainted with the two previous "Signorins".

In February 2011, the fashion house introduced the first composition of the famous trilogy. Sweet delicate aroma conquered customers with its pleasant and weightless sugar haze. Initial notes revealed a combination of pink pepper and red currant. In the "heart" flaunted a flower trio: jasmine, rose and peony. The basic harmony was built on musk, patchouli and tenderness of the Italian dessert Panacotta. There were no indifferents: the first admired the incredible durability, the second compared the train of the novelty with L'instant de Guerlain, the others expressed dissatisfaction with the cloying in the summer heat.

In autumn 2013, it was announced the creation of the second “signorina”, which will become a more sophisticated, expensive and elegant interpretation of the first perfume. The source of inspiration was the 2012 cruise collection show, held in the Louvre, where the flesh-colored women's shoes were key. This time, the pyramid created by Sophie Labbe included notes of peach, grapefruit, almond, osmanthus, white skin and patchouli.

Signorina collection

The appearance of a seductive mysterious stranger, carrying cover of night with passion and love, was announced in the winter of 2015. Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina Misteriosa reviews called the sound of the third Signorina mysterious and unpredictable. Why? Now we find out ...

Mystery of creation

3 talented masters worked at once on the composition - Juliette Karagezoglu, Sophie Labbe and Nicolas Beaulieu. The last two perfumers presented the fragrance at a presentation in Florence.

It is worth noting that Sophie worked on the creation of Organza for Givenchy and Premier Jour for Nina Ricci, worked with Kenzo, Bulgari, Kasharel for a long time - well, all Signorins, starting with the first one released in 2011 - it's her nose. Nicolas and Juliet have a more modest track record.

Probably many people are interested in knowing what the brief was and how the Fashion House, for which the perfume was created, broadcast its wishes. Lubbe claims that before starting work on the Signorina Misteriosa from Salvatore Ferragamo, the customer set a goal - to convey black. It is not heavy, but bright and glossy. A sort of secret - or rather, a demonstration of female coquetry, the source of inspiration of which was once again the shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo.

signorina misteriosa description

The idea to focus on the blackberry was put forward by Nicolas Beaulieu. According to him, from touching her lips to a black glossy berry, a woman experiences the same emotions when she sees the shoes of her dreams - delight and joy. To create a blackberry smell, I had to work hard. In its natural form, it does not exist, and the fruits cannot be extracted. As a result, perfumers mixed 40 different ingredients and added violet and rose to them to give the essence softness. For shine and gloss - neroli, and musk and vanilla - for a long loop.

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa: a fragrance description

Completely dissimilar and having nothing to do with the previous compositions of Signorina and Elegansa, besides the design of the bottle with a bow, Misteriosa does not. The first association is blackberry jam, which glistens gleamingly in a socket. Hearty, bright, dense and incredibly durable.

aroma notes

An unusually sensual and excitingly delicate perfume opens with a juicy blackberry accord, interwoven with neroli notes. A sophisticated heart is crowned by the quivering sound of a floral bouquet of orange blossom and creamy tuberose. Gourmet accents of milk mousse with a harmonious combination of vanilla tenderness and noble patchouli nuances are intertwined in a long-playing train, which leaves only enthusiastic compliments.

Advertising campaign

The main character of the video and the face of the composition was Grace Hartzel (Grace Hartzel). The 21-year-old American model appeared in several images at once.

In a commercial called My Life is a Play, Grace brilliantly demonstrated 3 characters, each of which belongs to a specific version of Salvatore Ferragamo perfume: Signorina, Misteriosa and Eleganza.

A mini-film was created by a team of professionals represented by director Sebastien Grosse and cameraman Pavel Edelman, nominated for an Oscar for the film Pianist Roman Polanski.

The video story turned out to be incredibly beautiful, in fact, a short movie, where there is drama, passion and everything that makes a potential buyer buy not one, but three perfumes at once:

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa: reviews

At the very beginning, it was not in vain that it was said that of the entire trilogy, it was Mysteriosis that distinguished itself by increased attention from women. Many admitted: getting to know the fragrance began very difficult, or rather did not cause the emotions that were mentioned in the press release - delight and joy. The first chords sounded sickeningly sickening. But as it turned out, unpleasant sweetness "plays" only the first 5-10 minutes. Further, incredible metamorphoses begin to occur with the composition. Almost everyone felt the bright sound of blackberries, reminiscent of vanilla-berry jam. Tasty, sweet, but at the same time unobtrusive and very restrained.

Many customers who are flattered by the creaminess of the composition, in their reviews of Signorina Misteriosa from Salvatore Ferragamo claim that on the skin it begins to unfold after 40 minutes, that is, after the essence has completely settled on its owner.

In general, women liked everything: the smell, and the train, and durability, and the design of the bottle. The main thing, they warn, is to withstand the first 5-10 minutes, and then enjoy the amazing aroma.
