Now we will understand how any WiFi network adapter is configured on a personal computer. Typically, a package contains the following components:
- the device itself;
- a disk with drivers and software;
- user manual (most often in English).
First you need to install the device in the slot. It is better if this socket is on the back of the system unit. These connectors are installed directly on the motherboard and are immediately ready for use. You can use the sockets on the front side, but before that, you must make sure that they are operational. After connecting it, a message appears stating that new equipment has been found. In this case, you must install the disk into the drive. Next, you need to install the entire software package, including additional configuration utilities. With their help, you can change any parameters of the Network and equipment. The next step is to go into network connections. This can be done through the "Start" button or through the taskbar. In the lower left corner is a shortcut that provides access to such equipment. In the window that opens, not only all installed WiFi adapters will be displayed, but also other network devices that are currently connected to the system. You need to select the one that was just installed, and double-click on it with the left mouse button. In the opened window of available Networks, select the one we need and double-click on it with the same key. Next, enter the password, if necessary. That's it, setup is done, and the Network is ready to go.
