The sixth BMW series is luxury sports cars. This line of machines first appeared on the market in 1976. Since ancient times, these were two-door coupes. Currently, the BMW 6 Series has replenished with a pair of bodies: a convertible and a 4-door sports car (Grand Turismo). In total, 3 generations of the model were born, given the fact that in the period from 1989 to 2003 the 6th series was not produced.

An innovation in the German automotive industry is the use of athermal glass. Thanks to it, ultraviolet light does not enter the cabin, as a result of which the temperature inside the car will be comfortable at any time of the year.
The appearance of German creation is complemented by base wheels with a radius of 17 inches. If desired, the consumer, the "six" can be installed alloy wheels 20 - and 21-inch.
Luxurious interior
The interior completely copies the interior of the 5 BMW model range, with the exception of some details. The central panel is equipped with a 12-inch touch screen on-board computer, which has many functions.
When decorating the interior, only the highest quality materials were used to create comfort and coziness in the car. The front seats, as it should be a sports car, are made in anatomical form for better support. The wide armrest is divided into two parts. Cars will be both rear-wheel drive and using intelligent all-wheel drive. The BMW 6 Series will go on sale in the following powertrain variations:
- The 640i will acquire a 3-liter turbocharged in-line V6 engine. Such a motor will develop a capacity of 347 horsepower.
- On the BMW 650i version, a V8 4.4 liter powertrain is installed. This twinturbated beast has at its disposal 476 "horses".
- The most powerful gasoline engine will stand in the M6 model and develop 600 horsepower. The V8 engine has a volume of 4.4 liters. It will work together with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
In addition to gasoline units, the BMW 640d on diesel will also appear. A volume of 3 liters will allow you to use the potential of all 333 horsepower of the engine.
All modifications will be equipped with 8-speed automatic transmissions. Based on the foregoing, we can conclude that the competitors of Mercedes-Benz and Audi can envy the characteristics of the BMW 6 Series.
Start of sales
At the end of last year, the BMW 6 Series entered the market by tradition in Germany. The cost of the Bavarian in Europe will be approximately 63,000 euros. In our country, the car will appear no earlier than December 2018, the price is not yet known. If you focus on the western, then perhaps it will start from 4 million rubles.
German manufacturers do not depart from their tradition of creating truly magnificent cars. European connoisseurs of the brand leave only positive reviews about BMW 6. In Russia, the Bavarian “six” will appeal to most consumers, even considering the fact that the cost is not so high compared to other classmates.
