In this song, Lennon performed vocals and most of the instrumental parts, and Kleipul played backing vocals and bass.
The song Boomerang Baby was one of the few on the album to claim the title of hit. As for the texts, in addition to the present surrealism, the authors touch on several pressing topics, in particular the condemnation of the legal drug trade carried out by pharmaceutical companies. sources of inspiration

Sean even had the honor of interviewing his idol for a limited edition disc called Words and Music. While working on his debut album, Lennon admired the work of Os Mutantes, a psychedelic rock band from Brazil.
Later in his life there was an opportunity to perform with the vocalist and bass player of the aforementioned band Arnaldo Baptista. In 2000, Sean Lennon designed the Tecnicolor album for Os Mutantes. Then, his source of inspiration was the Check Your Head collection of the legendary Beastie Boys, as it contains several musical styles, including rock, rap, and hip-hop.
Personal life
Sean Lennon for some time was in a relationship with the producer of his debut album, Yuka Honda. The couple broke up more than 10 years ago, however, the girl still works at the concerts of her former lover. Lennon also met with Elizabeth Jagger and the daughter of one of the Mamas And Papas musicians, Biggie Phillips. A friend separated Sean from the last girl. The next sweetheart of the artist was the model Genevieve Wait.
There is an opinion that all Sean’s attempts to build a family break up after the girls meet his mother. According to Lennon himself, he sees Yoko at least twice a week and considers her his best friend. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to deny the influence of the mother on the personal life of the artist. At the moment, Sean does not plan to tie the knot, but wants to meet a kind and smart companion in the future.
