Liepaja diet: “tasty” and varied weight loss

The popular Liepaja diet was invented by a professional nutritionist, which indicates its effectiveness and sufficient safety. The disadvantages of this diet include, first of all, its severity. Its menu, although quite varied, becomes boring over time: the Liepaja diet is designed for a long period of three months. At the same time, even the smallest deviations from the diet are not allowed, since, according to its creator, they neutralize all its beneficial effect. Weight loss in this case can slow down significantly, and it will take some time to restore its pace. Therefore, going to "sit down" on this diet, soberly evaluate your strength.

The Liepaja diet involves eating three times a day at five-hour intervals - this rule should be strictly observed. Her weekly menu is as follows. For breakfast, you are supposed to drink a glass of tea without flavorings or natural coffee and eat a sandwich: on Monday and Friday - with butter and cheese, and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - with butter and a slice of meat. On Wednesdays, the sandwich is replaced by eggs (2.5 pcs.). For lunch, it is necessary to eat a hot dish (160 g) from meat (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or fish (on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). A side dish of finely chopped vegetables (120 ml) is put to it - there must be at least three types of them. You can fill them only with lemon juice (no vegetable oil!). At lunch, you should drink a glass of fresh. Finally, for dinner on Monday, Wednesday and Friday they eat vinaigrette (120 ml), which can be seasoned with vegetable oil (composition: potatoes, beets and carrots, pickles, onions, sauerkraut) or meat salad, reminiscent of the beloved “Olivier” ( potatoes, egg, meat, green peas, pickles) - it is allowed to season it with mayonnaise or sour cream. To a vinaigrette relies a tablespoon of canned fish or caviar. At dinner, you can eat a slice of bread and drink a glass of any of the allowed drinks of your choice - kefir, tea or coffee with milk, juice.

Apart from the menu is the seventh day of the week. Sunday's diet is fundamentally different: on this day it is supposed to eat 250-300 grams of cottage cheese, two apples, ten walnuts and two tablespoons of honey, and drink 0.5 liter of milk. All products are divided into 5-6 receptions and eaten in random order. In addition to the drinks indicated on the daily menu, you can drink up to 1.75 liters of water per day. It is strictly forbidden to drink carbonated drinks and store juices! Alcohol is also strictly prohibited.

The calorie content of such a diet is 1100-1200 kcal. Thus, Dr. Hazan’s Liepaja diet belongs to the category of low-calorie ones, however, it is carried over, surprisingly, very easily - probably due to the variety of products included in it. Nevertheless, it is extremely effective and it is quite possible to lose several tens of kilograms on it.

The Liepaja diet, reviews of which give an idea of ​​its effectiveness, requires a reasonable and balanced approach. Since it completely changes the metabolic processes in the body and is among quite long ones, you should first consult with your doctor and, ideally, come to the clinic several times during this period for a physical examination. Dr. Hazan himself notes that the Liepaja diet requires daily monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate. In addition, it is necessary to donate blood for sugar every week. At the slightest deviations in well-being, unusual for you, you need to inform your doctor. You must also control your weight: daily weighing, at the same time and in the same clothes, should become the norm for you. Once a week, the volume of the abdomen, hips, left thigh, chest and neck is measured. The results must be entered in the diary in order to be able to assess the dynamics of weight loss.

You need to lose weight to the weight that you think is ideal for yourself. After this, it is necessary to gradually return to the usual diet, but forever abandon such a bad habit as overeating. It is also imperative to go in for sports, otherwise hard-lost pounds may return again.
