Jam is a dessert, which, in essence, is a mixture of jam with jelly. It is not prepared in the usual way, which allows people to constantly use any berries and fruits, even those that have an overly sharp taste (citruses). One of the options for this unique product is orange jam. The recipe for its preparation has many varieties. For example, you can consider some of them.

Classic version

The easiest way to cook such a dessert is using the minimum amount of ingredients. If this is a regular orange jam, the recipe provides the following set of products:

  1. First, you need to sort the berries, removing their tails and dried leaves. The fruits do not have to be hard. Overripe berries with the exception of rotten ones will do.
  2. Oranges should be freed from the peel and almost all white films. Only “fillet” (as the cooks put it) should remain.
  3. Transfer the prepared products into a blender bowl and turn them into a homogeneous mass.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan. Fill it with sugar and leave it for at least 8-9 hours in this position.

  1. First, ripe apricots must be washed, and then remove all the seeds from them. It’s better to do it with your hands.
  2. Then the remaining pulp should be passed through a meat grinder. You get a gentle aromatic mashed potatoes.
  3. Oranges also need to be peeled. After this, the zest must be removed using a grater, and the pulp should be sent to a meat grinder.
  4. Collect all prepared products in a spacious container.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, and then pour a kilogram of sugar. The mass should boil in such a composition for another five minutes. Throughout the entire cooking time it must be constantly stirred and do not forget to remove the foam.
  6. Remove the container from the stove and set aside until it cools completely.
  7. Repeat the heating procedure again, pouring out all the remaining sugar.
  8. For the third time, repeat five-minute cooking, after which the finished product can be laid out in cans.

It turns out a gentle and very fragrant apricot jam with orange. The recipe requires little time and is extremely simple to execute.

All over the world, housewives in the autumn-summer period are trying to make blanks so that in the rest of the year they won’t puzzle over how to please their households.   3. Pour the liquid into the pan and add the zest to it.
  4. Mix "Yellowfix" with two tablespoons of sugar and add to the prepared mixture.
  5. Put the pot of food on the stove and slowly bring its contents to a boil over medium heat.
  6. Pour the remaining sugar and repeat heating.
  7. Reduce the size of the flame and cook the mass for no more than 4 minutes.
  8. Then the mixture needs to be filtered using a fine sieve

After that, it can be laid out in banks, rolled up and turned upside down, left to cool. No special storage conditions are required for such a product. Enough to put the jars in the refrigerator or basement.

The most likely popular option is jam from lemons, oranges. The recipe perfectly emphasizes the individual flavor of each citrus, creating a wonderful mixture of them. The set of ingredients is extremely simple:

  1. Fruits must first be washed.
  2. After that, they must be cut into thin, neat slices in turn.
  3. All seeds must be removed from the obtained blanks, and the remaining products should be crushed as much as possible.

  5. The next day, the process must be continued. Put the mixture on the fire and cook for two hours until the pieces of the crust become softer.
