How to make vinegar essence?
In its pure form, acetic acid is used to produce aromatic and medicinal products, in printing and dyeing, and also as a solvent in the production of acetone and cellulose acetate. For domestic use, less concentrated solutions are needed . Diluting the acid with water to a 70-80% solution yields acetic essence. It is in this form that this chemical is sold in stores. But more often on labels you will read “Acetic acid (70% solution)”. Know, this is exactly what you need for use, for example, in cooking. This means that you have gained the essence.
How to get table vinegar?
Vinegar is a widely used ingredient in various salad dressings and sauces. Without this acidic liquid, it can be impossible to cook some baked goods, since the recipe provides for extinguishing baking soda precisely with its help. But what about the favorite kebab? After all, the classic marinade is a vinegar solution with seasonings. Agree that in the kitchen you just can’t do without it. What to do if you have only vinegar essence? As you noticed, the labels usually indicate that to obtain vinegar, 70% acid (i.e. acetic essence) is diluted in twenty parts of water. This is a three percent vinegar recipe.
Acetic essence : treatment of coarse heels
Some folk recipes are so unpredictable that it seems dangerous to use them. For example, there is a proven method for treating cracked heels, which is also very effective. We offer you two recipes, the main component of which is vinegar essence.
Recipe 1
Dilute glycerin with 70% acetic acid in a 2: 1 ratio. Be sure to shake before use. Lubricate damage to the heels with a cotton pad very neatly moistened with a solution.
Recipe 2
On top of the shell of a fresh chicken egg, make a small hole measuring 1.5 x 1.5 centimeters. Pour the essence into it. After sealing the hole with tape or adhesive tape, put the egg in a jar. After three to four days, the egg together with the shell will dissolve under the influence of acid. Gently strain the mixture through cheesecloth and pour into a small bottle. Use to treat dry skin of the feet and cracks in the heels. Shake the solution before use.
Using vinegar to lower the temperature
This folk recipe is well known to everyone. You can use both vinegar diluted in half with water and a solution of essence. To do this, dilute one teaspoon of acid in five hundred grams of water. Soak a towel in the liquid and apply to lower the temperature to the elbow and knee joints.
