Damien Dark was a famous assassin during his time in the League, where he was ruled by Ras Al Ghul. With his skill, he proved useful for the organization, and therefore began to claim the primacy. He could not withstand the competition, after which he fled with a sample of liquid from the famous Lazarus Pit. After leaving, he establishes his own crime syndicate called HIVE, where he sets his own rules. For his purposes, he used unknown technologies that were inaccessible to ordinary people. The FBI and the CIA often started cases against him, as they considered him a dangerous person, but they could not find evidence for his arrest.
HIVE Information
The founding of his syndicate to Damien Dark allowed expanding the scope of activities and setting new goals. Although he founded this organization, but the government was carried out by seven secret chapters, which always hid under the hoods. It is known for sure that one of them is the sworn enemy of Wonder Woman Professor Torgo. The HIVE group has always ideally implemented contracts for contract killings of important people, terrorism, attacks on any government agencies and similar difficult operations. The name refers viewers to the English word "hive", which indicates a large number of agents.
The Assassins League, where Damien Dark was formerly, never set out to gain global dominance in the world. He did not like this approach, and therefore his organization did its best to build up strength and influence. It was a way to gain power over the world, which the character was striving for.

Damien Dark in Strela is not listed as the founder of the HIVE crime syndicate, more precisely, this is simply not mentioned. Ras Al Gul spoke more about him in some episodes. He said that he was once his personal rider and claimed the title of “heir”. Together with him, another candidate fought for such an opportunity, who emerged victorious from their battle. Dark was a friend of the Demon in those days, but it ended after his betrayal. The winner did not kill the antagonist, but he gathered his minions and, together with the magic water, fled from the League.
Among his famous acts around the world, it is worth noting an attempt to launch nerve gas in Carrot, for which Kadir was hired. Damien also wanted to buy a machine for producing earthquakes from Milo Armitage, but he did not succeed in doing this. The same anti-hero was accused of hiring Mark Shaw to steal secret documents in ARGUS. All these crimes were a failure.

In the series, he is already shown as the eldest man, but his personality was described by the Demon, who had been acquainted with him for several years.
Damien has an incredibly high self-esteem, which, together with arrogance, creates from him far from the best teammate. These character traits are compensated by a brilliant mind with resourcefulness. Damien is ruthless and always accurately calculates his actions.
