Ellie Darcy-Alden is a young English theater and film actress who is known for her roles in the films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Robin Hood, Welcome to the Trap, and Doctor Who. Ellie Darcy-Alden was born on September 4, 1999 in Oxford, in a middle-class family (mother is a housewife, father is a senior director of production). Her parents legally issued a marriage only in 2003. Ellie has a younger brother, Joseph, who is also an actor. In 2012, they played together in the Christmas episode of the popular English series Doctor Who.
Debut in the world of cinema
Darcy-Alden made her acting debut in 2007 in the play Aladdin directed by Peter Duncan at the Oxford Theater. She was 7 years old when she forged her parents' signature on the registration sheet for listening and thus got to Duncan, who urged her to continue playing on stage.
