She is already forty. And she, by the principle of most people, is sure that it’s too late to change her life at least in something. But there are many examples that, nevertheless, look like an exception to the general rule, completely refuting such principles and views. Unfortunately, not everyone has the strength to change their lives, and in adulthood begin to embody some plans and ideas. Actors of the movie “Start Again. Martha ”convincingly argues that life at the age of forty is just beginning and is still possible. Most importantly: all this must be wanted and made as much effort as possible, since just wanting is clearly not enough.

The main character of the series is a self-sufficient, quite successful, intelligent, middle-aged woman with an attractive appearance. She is not deprived of the attention of men. Her name is Marta. From the outside it seems that everything is fine with her, everything is going well, and success happens as if by magic. But not everything is so cloudless with her, and Martha is clearly not enough for happiness.
The main and most crushing misfortune in her life happened many years ago when he committed an act that turned her whole life upside down. And now, after so much time, she cannot forget this and forgive herself for anything that happened in the past. This is the plot in the film "Start Again. Martha". Actors tried to convey all the nuances of this difficult situation.

Once upon a time, in a difficult situation, the main character of this mini-series agreed to provide one very delicate service to a married couple. The young family could not have children, because of which the wife (actress Olga Kabo) suffered greatly. In those years, there were no surrogate motherhood programs, so after Martha’s consent, it was her husband (actor Sergei Astakhov), who then belonged to the local elite, who managed to settle all the formalities.
Here is, if I may say, a test, the main character of the film “Start Again. Martha". The actors and the roles they perform in the film are very suitable for each other. Each artist, as it were, merges with his character. And this is very noticeable, because the story itself turned out to be very real.
Martha herself (actress Maria Poroshina) is so sincere in her grief today, when after the third very difficult birth she turns out that she will never have any more children. But those whom she gave birth to, she is not destined to see. And her friend of youth has been unrequitedly in love with her for many years (actor Yegor Beroev), so noble, so loyal, so courageous. Indeed, it was thanks to him that Martha was not sent to prison. It was he who, together with the neighbors in the communal apartment, collected the necessary amount for a bribe (he put all his savings in the general treasury) in order to “buy out” his girlfriend. It was he, having met Martha after so many years, with all his might trying to help her find her youngest child - daughter.
Important issue of humanity raised in the film
In the mini-series “Start Again. Martha ”actors slightly open the curtain on the problem of surrogacy. Not a single woman is safe from this, and each can be on either side of this problem, or on the other.
Is the main character made the right choice in life, and in general - what can be considered right? But the whole point is that the fate that Martha once made depended on the fate of her children, and not just her own. She finds herself without a livelihood, and here she is offered to become a surrogate mother. What drives her at that moment - the desire to help or make money? Everything is not so clear here, because if you do not pay attention to the financial side, Marta, helping other women to find the happiness of motherhood, deprives herself of this.
Yes, she managed to open her own business, she worked hard, achieved success. But the children she gave birth to grew up in other families, not knowing their biological mother. So shows the story of an ordinary woman, the film “Start Again. Martha". Actors talented gave all the necessary atmosphere so that the audience could penetrate every component of the life of the main character.
