The advantages of a biometric passport

Required documents
To apply for a travel document abroad, the following documents must be submitted to the FMS:
- an internal passport of a citizen of Russia, always with a residence permit (copies will also not hurt);
- the completed application form in duplicate (the form is provided to the FMS);
- four photographs of the established sample (in any shop you know about the requirements of the FMS, it’s enough to tell the specialist what purpose you need photographs for);
- receipt that the state fee has been paid (for a biometric passport - 2500 rubles, for an ordinary - 1000 rubles);

Other features
If you plan to produce an old-style passport, it would be useful to immediately enter in it data on the applicant's children under the age of 14 years.
