The well-developed hunting supplies industry provides for the production of ammunition of various purposes. At the same time, manufacturers of equipment for ammunition for smoothbore weapons are offered in three main versions, taking into account some features and goals of hunting: shot, card and bullet cartridges.
At the same time, each hunter should be aware of the order of the ammunition equipment, since the existing differences between the initial and actual state of the weapon require an individual approach. There is a difference in the cartridges used in winter and spring (autumn), due to climatic and temperature conditions.

At the same time, closing cartridges with an asterisk is not recommended. Laying in one row allows 3-5 or 7 buckshots. A larger or smaller amount degrades the stability of the charge.
Equipment bullet cartridges requires the fulfillment of one of the main conditions - this is the correct selection of a bullet along the barrel of a weapon. For this purpose, it is pushed through the entire trunk, starting from the breech, while the passage should not allow significant effort.
The best option when equipping a bullet is to use a container for it. It ensures the correct location of the bullet in the sleeve and, with a competent weight of the powder charge, sufficient sharpness of the battle.
The choice of a specific type of bullet is determined by the hunter's personal preferences, but in any case it should provide a sufficient lethal stopping effect on the beast, otherwise it will take a long time to go after the wounded animal, and a large and aggressive target (bear, elk, wild boar) can attack the hunter himself.
Equipping cartridges with spherical-type bullets requires centering them in the sleeve, for which a stripped-off cartridge is charged with a charge on a horizontally located stand, the bullet is installed in the center of the sleeve and it is filled with paraffin (stearin) at two to three heights. Paraffin pouring of turbine bullets is not allowed, as this will lead to the blocking of channels providing rotation in the barrel.
With any type of bullets used, it is forbidden to “jam” them, since this most often leads to bloating and rupture of the barrel.
You can not think that a significant excess of charge will not give any significant advantages. The equipment of cartridges requires careful weighing of gunpowder: failure to observe the weight of the charge will lead to differences in shooting and the inability to carefully aim and make effective amendments.
