Recreation at school is a room where children can relax during breaks from classes. Its area is small, the shape is square or rectangular, often it has several windows. On the eve of the holidays, it is customary to decorate schools. This creates a special atmosphere and helps to relax.
Decorating the school's recreation for the New Year is considered an important preparatory stage. It is attended by children of senior, middle and elementary grades. Unfortunately, the administration does not always allocate budgetary funds that can be spent on the purchase of holiday paraphernalia. Therefore, the question always remains as to how to decorate recreation at school.
Room preparation
It is necessary to involve children in the process of registration of recreation at the school. With special enthusiasm, students in elementary grades are approaching this. As homework, you can offer to perform thematic crafts or draw a poster. Wall newspapers are often hung along the walls, and voluminous do-it-yourself ornaments are placed on windows or in corners.
If everyone brings a little tinsel and rain from the house, then in the end they will gather enough. It is better to disassemble these decorations by color, and then with the help of adhesive tape they are fixed in the form of plain patterns on the walls. When creating a festive atmosphere, everything that was planned to be thrown out can be used.
Snowflakes have been and remain an integral part of the New Year. They are great for decorating the ceiling. In this, students must help adults. If there is an old tulle, you can make waves out of it, fixing it with rain, and hang them between the windows just below the window sills.
New Year's glasses
For several decades before the New Year, people in their homes have decorated windows with various winter-themed paintings. This technique can easily be used to ensure that the school's recreation has gained a festive atmosphere. From the outside, the glass is decorated using decoupage technique.
Performing it is easy. It is necessary to stock up with beautiful napkins, which depict Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, a snowy forest, a snowman and other fairy-tale characters. They are carefully cut out, which can also be done in a technology lesson, and then with a brush and glue they are attached to the windows.
To create a flickering effect, multi-colored sparkles are used. Almost every child has them now, and if not, they can be purchased at any stationery store at a low cost. So that the powder does not crumble, pre-lubricate the picture with PVA glue.
Making snowmen
Recreation at school is the place where, at the end of lessons, parents expect their children, primary school students. On New Year's Eve, they will be especially pleased to be there. Like the children and teachers themselves. A great idea would be to install snowmen from floss and glue threads on the windowsills.
Even a first grader can cope with such crafts, and at the same time it can be made at home, together with parents. You will need to purchase a white floss thread and three balloons, as well as the glue itself. Balloons are inflated, but not much so that each is slightly larger in diameter than the previous one.
Then they wrap it with a pre-moistened thread. So apply several layers and allow to dry well. Identical manipulations are repeated with the remaining balls. When the mugs are ready, the balls are punctured and pulled out through the hole. Then the structure is assembled together with glue, the eyes are made with black threads to the snowman, and the scarf and hat are red.
A bit about security
When decorating recreation at school, it is very important to remember that child safety always remains in the first place. When using paints, it is worth giving preference to ordinary gouache. It is not toxic and does not exude a pronounced smell. Putting a stained glass pattern is also worth the tested materials.
All decor items must be securely fastened. If necessary, you can decorate the ceiling. To do this, attract high school students, but with them there must be an adult who will control the entire process. Any inaccurate movement can cause injury, and this should always be remembered. It is better to play it safe and do everything necessary so that the holiday is not overshadowed by any troubles.
