Rami Malek: biography and filmography

Rami Malek is an American actor and producer of Egyptian descent. Best known to the general public for his starring role in the series Mr. Robot, for which he received an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. Also known for his work in the series "24 Hours" and "Pacific" and several supporting roles in major Hollywood films.

Childhood and youth

Rami Malek was born on May 12, 1981 in the city of Los Angeles. The actor’s parents are Egyptian Copts, who moved to the United States shortly before Rami’s birth. My father was a tourist guide in Cairo, later engaged in the sale of insurance policies. Mother worked as an accountant.
