The “Method” turned out to be a spectacle not uninteresting, controversial, sometimes secondary. The main character - a law enforcement officer, a cobbler and a disgusting introvert Rodion Meglin (Konstantin Khabensky), is somewhat similar to the key characters of Sherlock and Doctor House, he does not stop the maniacs, but simply destroys them.
Due to a roll towards the loss of formality, the project frankly jumps out of the bounds of reality. Unlike foreign counterparts, of the same “Bridge”, “Murder” or “True Detective” - films similar to “Method” with Khabensky - he does not try to fit into reality. At the same time, casting should be considered a real success of the brainchild of Yu. Bykov, almost all performers deserve the highest praise. This applies not only to key characters, but also the bright characters of each episode, including maniacs.

Dexter, triumphantly striding across the screens for eight seasons, was one of the brightest phenomena in the history of American cable television. The title character, a highly moral serial killer, took pride of place in the pantheon of charming and attractive anti-heroes as the dizzying and complex hero of an extreme "adult" series.
Similar films on “Method” with Khabensky are distinguished by the non-standard character of key characters. In the series “Luther” in the center of the story, an outstanding detective John Luther (Idris Elba), proving by his own example that the “dirty” policeman and “dirty methods” are completely different things. The series-anthology "True Detective" is also a very unusual sight, which can rightly be attributed to films similar to "Method" with Khabensky. He deprived the disastrous number of critics and spectators. The project is not even a detective in the usual sense. The lead investigation does not compare with the classic masters of the detective genre. By the way, even the heroes of the domestic "Kamenskaya" or "Streets of Broken Lights" are sometimes faced with much more non-trivial murders. But professional directing, expertly prescribed script and fantastic skill of the actors make the series one of the gems of cable TV.
Hannibal is an undeniably exciting but overly gloomy project about the adventures of cannibal Hannibal and FBI agents. Lecter skillfully manipulates the FBI, committing monstrously sophisticated murders, in comparison with which the crimes of the maniacs from "Think Like a Criminal" are just childish pranks.

The British detective show based on the works of Conan Doyle is often positioned as an event on a global scale. Viewers of the whole planet fell in love with Cumberbatch and Freeman, who embodied on-screen modernized images of Doyle's heroes. The creators of the series did not tarnish the honor of the BBC, their project turned out to be spectacular, exciting, unpredictable and eccentric. Witty series filmed almost at the level of feature films.
