Jerome Boateng is a German professional footballer who plays as a defender in Bayern Munich and the German national team. As part of the Bundestim, he is the world champion in 2014. Previously played for such clubs as Hertha, Hamburg and Manchester City.

A pupil of the football school of the club "Hertha" from his native Berlin. Since the 2006/2007 season, the young player began to join the matches of the second Hertha team, which played in the lower leagues of the German championship. Hamburg
The confident play of the defender, who was only 18 years old, attracted the attention of scouts of another representative of the Bundesliga, Hamburg, and in August 2007 Boateng moved to this club.

Bayern
On July 14, 2011, Bayern Munich bought Boateng's contract for 14 million euros, and he returned to his homeland. During the first seasons in Bavaria, he was a regular player in the starting lineup of the team, playing at least 40 games in all competitions for the season. In the 2012/2013 season, he helped the Munich team become the winner of the national championship and Cup, as well as triumph in the Champions League.
