Jerome Boateng is a German professional footballer who plays as a defender in Bayern Munich and the German national team. As part of the Bundestim, he is the world champion in 2014. Previously played for such clubs as Hertha, Hamburg and Manchester City.

And at the end of this season, in June 2010, he signed a five-year contract with the English club Manchester City. However, Boateng failed to gain a foothold in the basis of the English team - during his first season he played only 24 games, of which only 16 in the Premier League.

Bayern

On July 14, 2011, Bayern Munich bought Boateng's contract for 14 million euros, and he returned to his homeland. During the first seasons in Bavaria, he was a regular player in the starting lineup of the team, playing at least 40 games in all competitions for the season. In the 2012/2013 season, he helped the Munich team become the winner of the national championship and Cup, as well as triumph in the Champions League.

Since the season 2015/2016 he began to receive less playing time. Despite this, in December 2015, he extended the agreement with Bavaria until 2021.
