Printing Features
The material for calendars depends on their variety:
- pocket - double-sided cardboard with a density of at least 300 g / m 2 ;
- wall, calendar posters - coated paper. You can choose the density yourself - from 150 to 250 g / m 2 ;
- quarterly - for tear-off blocks we use coated paper 115 g / m ^ 2 or offset paper 80 g / m. For the substrate, one-sided cardboard with a density of about 300 g / m 2 is suitable.
In addition, we can offer designer or metallized paper, as well as paper with plastic inserts.
The equipment on which printing will be carried out depends on the circulation. It is very profitable to print large print runs on offset, especially if the number of copies exceeds 1000. The minimum quantity is 500 pieces.
But if you need a small number of calendars, we will print them on a digital machine, since in this case offset printing will be completely unprofitable.
Manufacturing process
After printing the entire circulation, calendars must be fastened. For the production of wall, quarter and some types of desktop calendars, we use a Wire-O binding spring - plastic or metal.
For flip calendars, we can offer the installation of a crossbar - a metal wire bent in the middle part.
Quarterly calendars are attached to the surface through eyelets or piccolos.
After winding on the spring, the edges are trimmed, and after - post-printing processing.
What finishing work do we offer?
