Balashikha gang: history of formation and development

The Balashikha gang has long been considered one of the largest in the Moscow region, holding vast territories in awe. This is known to almost all merchants who tried to do their own business in criminal Russia. However, few people remember that the origin of this group began in the late 1970s, which makes it one of the very first. It is about how the Balashikha gang appeared at the dawn of the formation of racketeering, will be discussed in this article.

An association

OCG members

If you look at the photo of the composition of the Balashikha gang, you can see that these people were quite diverse. This is explained quite simply: initially it was assembled by 1986 from several groups at once, which carried out their activities in the Balashikha district. From the very beginning of their existence, they interacted quite well, but after a while a bloody war began over the territory. All this led to the fact that over time the leaders of the two largest associations (Sergey Frolov and Vladimir Mushinsky) decided to unite. It was this association that marked the beginning of the formation of the Balashikha organized crime group.

Frol

The first leader of this group can be called Sergey Frolov, who bore the nickname Frol in everyday life, although he had never been convicted before. The former boxer, in addition to his physical strength, was distinguished by a highly developed mind, which gave him the opportunity to quickly rise in the gang and acquire obedient people who quickly completed assignments. He acquired connections in the district administration, so that against the background of economic reforms by Mikhail Gorbachev, he was able to open a cooperative, which was owned by a completely different person on papers.

Mushninsky began to fall faster and faster to the bottom. After he killed the kingpin Phakadze, other similar criminal elements sentenced him and a couple of his close friends to death. Against this background, Frolov began to enlist the support of the thieves ’elite more and more, and so the sole eminence was not long in coming. The first part of the Balashikha gang completely came under his command, and Mushninsky soon fell into the hands of the police.

Slaughter period

Victims of redistribution from Balashikha OCG

Balashikha OCG during the management of its Frolov had a fairly large number of conflicts with other groups. At that time, Caucasians were her most ardent enemies, and after some time the Chechens, although the arrow with them ended quite peacefully and without blood.

However, over time, Frolov became increasingly bloodthirsty. On his orders, 3 leaders of the Reutovskaya organized criminal group were killed at once, as well as several shootings with casualties were carried out. All this helped him to strengthen power in the areas of interest to him: fraud, robbery, robbery.

Frolov also took root in the rapidly growing auto business in the USSR, which made him a very influential figure in the Moscow region. Balashikha OCG had several business contracts with entrepreneurs from other countries. But in general, the degree of his influence on the authorities can be explained by one factor - even after he was arrested and a firearm was found during the search, Frolov quickly went free without records.

Death of authority

Tomb of Solomatin

This state of affairs could not last a long time. Already in 1993, on the eve of the New Year, on December 30, Frolov was killed in the casino "Alexandra" at the birthday of his own friend. Another criminal authority fired - Grigory Solomatin, although even now it is not known for certain why the conflict broke out between them.

The murder itself took place in a separate room, where they went out just to talk. Upon hearing the shot, the guests rushed to the sound and, seeing Frolov’s corpse, beat Solomatin himself and his comrade Baskakov to death. So they took the secret of the incident directly to the grave. Frolov did not die immediately - his friends tried to take him to the hospital, but the doctors refused to take him. He died already in a military hospital, after which the authority was buried in a small village cemetery near the village of Voskresensky. More than one and a half thousand people came to escort him on his last journey.

Redistribution of spheres of influence

Sultan Daudov

After the death of Frolov, the redistribution of territories began. Trying to seize power, the new criminal authorities could not consolidate the inheritance received. In total, there are about 50 fighters and authorities who were killed in these skirmishes. However, it is noteworthy that one corpse was out of the script - it was the corpse of Sultan Daudov, who for 1994 was considered the only thief in the law of Chechen nationality. At that time, the authorities thought that it was he who ordered the murder of Frolov, although there was no special evidence for this.

Conclusion

Today, the Balashikha gang continues to exist, albeit in a greatly truncated amount. After the death of Frolov, no one was able to become a full-fledged leader for her, and therefore, since 1996, she completely lost her independence. Now it is considered one of the parts of the property that belongs to the thieves' clans, and therefore no longer plays a special role.
