Nise tablets

“Nize” pills belong to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The active component of the drug is nimesulide.

Nise tablets have pharmacological properties, which are the ability to selectively inhibit the enzyme involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins (pain and inflammatory mediators). The drug has a direct effect not only on the synthesis of prostaglandins, but also on their short-lived predecessors. This, in turn, leads to a significant decrease in their concentration. The process of inhibiting the occurrence of prostaglandins is carried out not only in the area of ​​the inflammatory lesion, but also at the level of conducting painful impulses in the spinal region. Nise tablets have antioxidant properties due to their effect on enzymatic processes (they have the ability to reduce the activity of the myeloperoxidase enzyme). Practice has proven the effect of nimesulide on the histamine release process by inhibiting it and preventing the destruction of cartilage tissue.

The main indications for which “Nise” tablets are prescribed include:

- gout with a clinical predominance of articular syndrome, rheumatism;

- articular lesions accompanying psoriasis;

- arthritis of various types (including rheumatoid);

- the manifestation of muscle pain of various origins;

- manifestation of the pain syndrome accompanying sciatica;

- manifestation of pain in various areas (toothache, headache , pain in the early postoperative periods, painful menstruation);

- damage that has a post-traumatic nature (tears, sprains, bruises);

- infectious and inflammatory ailments accompanied by fever.

The purpose of the medication is made taking into account possible contraindications in the patient. The drug is not prescribed in cases:

- the presence of an ulcerative process that affects the digestive tract (acute period of the disease);

- bleeding from the digestive tract;

- the presence of renal or liver failure, accompanied by impaired functioning of the organs;

- identification of individual intolerance of the active component (nimesulide);

- throughout pregnancy or lactation.

When prescribing long-term therapy, accompanied by a long medication, it is necessary to monitor the functioning of the liver and kidneys.

The daily dose of the drug should not exceed four hundred milligrams. Calculation of children's dosage is made in accordance with body weight.
