Enchanted is a popular American television series released in 1998. He tells of three modern witch sisters, who together save the world from the attacks of the forces of Darkness. He is considered predominantly girly and is definitely familiar to all fans of the era of the series “Sabrina is a little witch”, “Talking with ghosts”, “Buffy is the vampire slayer” and other supernatural projects to match “Enchanted”. It is hard to imagine how many seasons their enthusiasm was watched by fans of young TV magicians in the early 2000s due to the peak of popularity of this topic.
the main thing
This mystical series from its very first broadcast on TV proved that it claims to be a huge success. The pilot series gathered a multi-million audience at the screens, the audience eagerly awaited the continuation and fell head over heels in the plot and the actors of the series “Charmed”. These women practicing magic then became perhaps the most famous heroines not only for Americans, but for the whole world. Perhaps the reason for this is a large-scale advertising campaign conducted by the creators in order to attract the largest possible audience.

It is noteworthy that the very first series was never shown on TV. All because of the fact that the actress of the Charmed series, who played the younger sister, left the project. As a result, the pilot episode had to be re-shot with a new star, which turned out to be Alyssa Milano. And if we talk about how many “Enchanted” seasons there were such grandiose replacements, you can call this and the unexpected arrival of Rose McGone - more on that later.
How many seasons
Spells, potions, superpowers and the most powerful confrontation between Good and Evil are demonstrated throughout the seasons of "Enchanted", how many are the result of 8. And all are good! If we talk about how many episodes in each season of “Charmed”, then there were always 22–23, a total of 180 came out. Viewers saw the first season in 1998, the last in 2006. The closure of the project after the 8th season was deliberate . Apparently, the authors decided to stop in time and not squeeze everything from the cult project to the last, with each new series making it more senseless and uninteresting.

It's no secret that this often happens with overly long-term series, whose clear storyline keeps afloat with each new season is becoming increasingly difficult. An example of this is the series “Supernatural”, “Heroes” or “Smallville Secrets” which are too long, according to many. Sometimes in order to maintain ratings and not get confused in the script, you have to let go of your brainchild and pacify the thirst for profit.
Plot and concept
The action spins around the three magic sisters. They live in a gorgeous mansion in San Francisco, meet with guys, go to work and from time to time knock out otherworldly villains. The main sacred object is the “Book of Sacraments”, which contains many spells and is the desktop guide for many generations of witches. Only by holding together, the trio of the strongest Charmed in the world is able to withstand powerful opponents from the Dark Side.
The idea of the creator of the project, Constance M. Burge, was to demonstrate the complexity of the double life of good witches. Girls are forced to combine their strength and periodic disassembly with demons with worldly realities, not particularly standing out from the crowd. And if such witchcraft series as “Sabrina is a little witch” or “My wife enchanted me” represent the same thing in a comedic light, then “Charmed”, no matter how many seasons there are, are more than serious.
Cast
How many Enchanted Actresses have been in the seasons? Despite the fact that there should be 3 owners of the most powerful force on the planet, 4 girls played their roles. The thing is that when Shannen Doherty, also known for her role in the cult television series "Beverly Hills 90210", left the project, in her place came a new star. Shannen played a burning brunette, the oldest of all sisters named Prue. However, at some point, for some reason, the creators decided to "kill" her, and she disappeared from the screens. The next in a team of actors of the Charmed series is Holly Marie Combs, who acted as the wisest, most rational and courageous sister, who essentially replaced the mother with the girls.

It should also be noted the roles of the beautiful Alyssa Milano and Rose McGone, the eternal youngest. The latter entered the project after the departure of Shannen and was presented as a suddenly acquired sister, whose existence no one knew. In positive reviews of the Charmed series, the emphasis is often placed on catchy external data and the impressive acting of these two beauties.
