Beautiful speech allows you to quickly attract an interlocutor, charm, and then convince him of the correctness of your thoughts. But what if words come out through power and you can only goof off? Is it a sentence or an individual feature in which there is nothing to worry about? To better understand the phenomenon, it is necessary to study it from the point of view of contemporary ideas about language. You should understand the meanings laid down by the people in a capacious definition.
Synonyms and likes
It is not easy to establish the origin of colloquial expressions, but drawing parallels is not difficult. The closest term is called "nasal." And both words merge into the characteristic βtalk in the noseβ that is acceptable for discussion in society.
At the same time, they imply the specificity of sounds made by a person, which, as if through force, break out, due to which there is a feeling of a constant runny nose. Sometimes this effect occurs due to the curvature of the nasal septum. Is it neutral or negative? It depends on the context.
Jabber, jargon and mosquitoes
Is it appropriate to say so? If you decide to point to a stuffy nose, then it is obvious that a person is aware of his difficulties and even experiences discomfort. The most commonly used are two interpretations:
- purposefully or as a result of speech defects to nasal;
- make monotonous sounds.
The second option is to describe natural phenomena. If you are surrounded by midges or mosquitoes, the term in question will be appropriate. But it can be transferred to the interlocutor:
- for pulling, to correct, and those present could hear a report;
- to indicate an insufficient level as a speaker.
It will sound insulting, but it will help in the future to rehearse public performances better. Also in the framework of jargon there is a version that is used for any lingering, not very interesting and in its own way boring stories. And in this form is a direct insult.
Communication and daily routine
And still the question remains: is it okay to gundos? Not at all. Modern society is built on interaction with people, so in any case, you need to work on pronunciation. But also as a characteristic, the indicated verb is not the best choice, because it either hints at real defects, or tries to humiliate the speaker in an impolite form.
If you want to point out to a friend mistakes and shortcomings, try to find less offensive language. Speaking quietly, unemotionally, or suffering from a cold is not a crime. Charisma can be developed if you approach this delicately, rather than drive embarrassment at offensive attacks.
