Biography

Harold Allen Ramis was born on 11/21/1944 in America, in the state of Illinois, in Chicago. He began his career as an editor in Playboy. A theater group from Texas toured Chicago, he joined her in 1969. Then he moved to the city of New York to perform in a national show. Already in 1976, he was the main performer in the comedy series Second TV. His Hollywood debut took place when he began working on Ghostbusters.

He studied at the University of Washington in Missouri, and became a doctor of art history. The university was a member of the student fraternity. Harold's first wife was called Emma. When Harold gave an interview about the movie Groundhog Day, he explained that his working relationship with Bill Murray ended just on the days when the film was shot.
